Guillain Barre Syndrome Support Group is an established charitable organisation, offering support, information and other assistance to sufferers and their families throughout the UK and Eire as well as promoting research into the causes, prevention and treatments and advancing the education of the public and of the medical professions.

The charity, which is located in Sleaford, originally started out in 1985 and has many years experience in the continued support and research of GBS and related conditions.

With a network of volunteers supported by administration staff, the group delivers a range of support and assistance to individuals. The service is designed to offer information and support, enabling sufferers and their families to have a better understanding of the syndrome.

The organisation supplies a wide range of support and awareness that can be in the form of visits, literature, presentations or research and are specific to each case. The available literature covers all aspects of the syndrome and related conditions, making them suitable for both sufferers, family or other interested people, and they are available to download from the website or can be ordered from the office. All services and literature are provided free of charge.
