Just back from a week in Northumberland, first time hiring a roof box, the service is first class, nothing was too much trouble, really helpful and any questions I had were answered really promptly. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend using A2B. They have a large range of equipment for hire at affordable prices. I have hired a roof box and bars for the last couple of years which makes travelling so much easier when you have the extra space, and great to store the wet body boards/wet suits after a surf. I normally book early as demand is high throughout the summer, however this year I left it late. Despite this Iain and his team still managed to accommodate me. It's easy to book, and they fit everything for you. Excellent customer service and great knowledge of their products. Definitely check out their page, I wouldn't use anyone else.

I travelled down from Manchester to purchase a Thule Arcos platform and towbar box. Iain was super knowledgable, and couldn’t be more helpful. He gave me lots of good advice and demonstrated how to safely fit the platform and box. Good company, highly recommended due to customer service and knowledge of the products they supply.

We recently purchased a kayak roof rack system from A2B outdoor hire and I can’t tell how pleased I am, the level of customer service is brilliant, I asked lots of questions and received lots of information about the roof racks and kayaks, would recommend anyone looking to hire or buy roof racks/ boxes to use this company.

I have used used A2B a couple of times this year (2021) to hire a roof rack. I live about 40 minutes drive from Peterborough. I would recommend them highly. Their prices are very reasonable, they are very accommodating and they know their stuff about roof boxes/bars. I only enquired with a few day’s notice both times (for hiring in June and early July) and they were able to offer me a box to rent both times, which was a big relief.

Excellent service. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every Thule product going. Fitted my roof bars in minutes and they even offered to let me borrow some while my order came in. Would definitely recommend these boys rather than Halfords etc.

I had trouble with Halfords with a fixing kit for my Thule Roof Bars. Ian found a solution, lent me some whilst mine were ordered so I could go on holiday. Fantastic service, goes above and beyond what you expect. Highly recommend. Will be using again!

Hired a top box and bars for my recent family holiday, pleasure to deal with the guys at A2B, outstanding customer service from start to finish and would not hesitate to use again, clearly family run business who understand what customer service is all about.

I was struggling to find the right feet to mount my bars and roof box on to my new car. Iain managed to find a temporary solution whilst the correct feet were ordered and I could still go on holiday without any luggage issues. A2B are definitely there to help you in any way they can.

We hired a trailer from A2B at short notice. Very pleased with the communication from the owner Ian. I would recommend to use this company. We have a small trailer which was not big enough to use. I thought about buying a bigger trailer but only using twice a year for holidays i decided to hire. Also looking at buying some roof bars from A2B.

Tried all the larger outlets like Halfords but weren’t that helpful. Looked for someone local to assist me and found Ian at Peterborough who couldn’t be more helpful. He found all the Thule parts we needed for new bars, even offered to buy back our old bars which didn’t fit the new car and gave us a good price. Even offered to come in Sunday to fit the new bars if we wished. Really great service and extremely helpful. Thoroughly recommend Ian and his company.

We hired a large top box for our fishing trip to Ireland. The box took 2 rod holdalls(which are 6 feet long), my net bag, chair, wellies and boots. The box was perfect for us and Ian's help and advice in choosing the right box for us was spot on. The fitting and removal of the box was quick and efficient, and we were also given a drink while we were waiting. Overall the service we received was fantastic and we would have no qualms in recommending them to anyone.

From start to finish the service from A2B was exceptional. They suppliedi and fitted everything I needed for my car and they fitted the hired Thule top box late on a Friday evening which was very useful due to work commitments and saved me the trouble of trying to arrange work around holidays! They quoted 45 mins approximately to fit but it was done in about 15 mins which was great. The box itself was just right and barely had any affect on the way the car performed when fitted and was a practical and cost effective way of adding extra carrying capacity to the car. We hired a medium sized box which proved to very useful for two large cases and other odds and ends. Payment was easy and taken without fuss and the deposit was refunded as promised very quickly and all in all I would not hesitate in recommending them to everyone who needs a reliable and easy to deal with outdoor hire company.

Hiring a top box from A2B took all the stress out of packing as four of us set off for a week in Dorset. On the roof in the Thule Pacific 200 there were three small/medium sized cases, a few bags of shoes and a couple of coats. That extra space made an enormous difference. Excellent value and really efficient and friendly service.

Excellent service all round from A2B. Having a roof box made our journey to Devon with our 2 small boys in a Peugeot 3008 alot more comfortable! Upgraded to a 'large' box which easily fitted 4 holdalls and with room to spare! Will definitely be using A2B again ? !
