AJW Distribution Ltd is an independently owned company which supplies roofing, cladding and general building materials to a wide variety of contractors, builders, building merchants and also to the general public. Whatever the size of the order, AJW Distribution always goes that extra mile to satisfy the customers’ requirements with a sharp focus on product quality and service.

Our head office is based in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, and this was our first location. In 2020 we relocated our Chatteris branch to a different Chatteris location, offering a better experience for our customers. Our second branch, in central Norwich, opened in 2002, whilst our third site opened in 2007, based in Witham, Essex. The AJW Roofing portfolio expanded further in November 2014 with Sawston, Cambridge depot and then our Bury St Edmunds depot was opened in July 2018. We added to our portfolio with opening our 6th depot in May 2022 in St Neots. In February 2024 we completed our first acquisition of Castle Roofing Supplies in Market Deeping, which brings the number of depots we have to 7.

Our reputation is founded on the experience of our staff who hold a vast amount of knowledge on a wide range of roofing products and accessories. We are able to source virtually any roofing products in a variety of colours and we pride ourselves on the competitive prices we can offer our customers. At AJW Distribution there is a heavy emphasis on ensuring our staff always have a professional approach to customer service and we ensure they are able to advise which products are best suited to your specific requirements by giving them up to date training on all of the products we sell.

At AJW Distribution we are also able to offer assistance in identifying profiles and the ‘taking-off’ quantities from construction drawings, although it should be emphasised that this is purely a service to assist customers and the ultimate responsibility for any take-offs lies with the customer.

We also have a fleet of vehicles and can offer a two to three day delivery service on most stock items to all parts of the region. Customers are also welcome to collect material from our warehouses where we have carry a comprehensive amount of stock on many items but it is advisable to contact us first to check availability.
