To cut a long frustrating story short, expensive fans were recommended to fix a mould problem. We are a thousand pounds down, still have the mould and are being told it is our lifestyle that is to blame, despite long in depth conversations prior to fitting the fans about the fact that we would need to dry nappies in the house during winter and being assured that these fans would mean we could. Had we been told we couldn't dry clothes in the house despite the fans we would have invested in a tumble dryer instead and saved our money. The fans are also loud at night which the ones we replaced were not. The people fitting the fans also repeatedly turned up without the necessary equipment and I had to get them back 4 times to actually get the fans working as they were meant to.
They only been here half a day and already had enough of them. They are rude, not professional, their attitude stinks (that's the workmen who came here). Will never ever use them again, their radio is on that loud we can't even hear ourselves think. This really is a terrible company, I'm going to leave it there.
I have had a lot of work done costing a lot of money, I have been left with a few problems that they will not fix they are breaking consumer rules. Have been left with a toilet that is covered in dry plaster and will not come off a kitchen unit door has had a mark on from day one they refuse to change it blame me it is a fault in the door. Project manager is useless sorted me a kitchen with no drawers did nothing to change it he doesn’t want to know. They ruined new log burner hearth with dried in cement again they don’t want to know cost me money to put right. I have a crack in wall where they took a window out plaster not done properly on wall and ceiling. Bad grouting in kitchen and bathroom the coat on bath panel is coming off yet again Wesley not interested a young kid with no idea of customer service and what money it has cost me. Don’t know how they can live with there self’s just like cowboys all I want is it putting right. They treat customers like there staff terrible. Allerton Remedial Treatments are the worst company that I have had the misfortune of dealing with. They are downright thieves and I have no idea how they are still in business. Please check that the work they have prescribed is actually required. They quoted over £20,000 for work that was not needed. Thankfully, I sought advice from other specialists and a chartered surveyor who all informed me that the solution to my problem was simple and only cost £100. I had a leak and just need to fix it and dry my house out with a dehumidifier. My chartered surveyor informed me that Allerton has a terrible reputation!
Absolutely do not get this company to work on your house ! Shambolic service from stuart and his team ! 20 year guarantee ! If you pay them to come back every year and sort out there poor workmanship ! I had a great experience with them. Their surveyor was down to earth, easy to follow and made sure that I understood the damp problems in our kitchen. The report anmd quotation that they provided were clear and easy to follow, and they were the cheapest of the three quotes I'd had- I wouldn't use anyone else now!
