Ashwater Construction renovated our house last year. The work started with taking the extension roof off and converting it to a vaulted ceiling with 3 large velux. The kitchen was replaced, involving taking a wall out and installing bifolds, french doors and windows. The team then created a bespoke media wall in the same room which was exactly what we wanted. It didn’t stop there. They renovated 2 bathrooms, one was completely re figured, resulting in a high end ‘hotel’ bathroom, exceeding expectations! They renovated the hallway, new front door, under stairs cupboards and clad the staircase in oak with spindles and rails to match. Finally they made a second bespoke media wall in the lounge incorporating a new fire. Results were stunning!The work took 4 months with the team present throughout. After visiting the house initially, Keith provided thorough and detailed quotation for the works - which included an extension, knock through to make large kitchen/diner with bi-folds, replacing all internal doors, completely replacing the bannister, boarding and lighting the loft, knock through to increase size of a bathroom and replacing all bathrooms and the kitchen. The work started in January and have worked diligently to ensure it was completed ahead of schedule - even working weekends to make sure it was done before our baby arrived. The work has been completed to an exceptional standard and nothing was ever too much trouble - they were always keen to answer questions and happy to do little additional jobs that we thought of whilst they were on site. With such a lot of work being done, we've been very pleasantly surprised that Ashwater managed to complete everything within the initial budget. All the guys on site, with special mention to Mark, Geoff and Kev, have been great to have around the house - they have been lovely with our son and with the neighbours, always keen to make sure they weren't being inconvenienced. We could not recommend Ashwater more highly - and have already done so to family who are now commencing a project with Ashwater in the next couple of months!

Ashwater construction were brilliant, they did a kitchen knock through for me, fitted a bespoke kitchen including oven, fridge/freezer, sink, washing machine, worktops and flooring, they also made a tv wall and cupboards for the living room, hung lights and fitted new doors and made a downstairs toilet, nothing was too much trouble, they helped me with ideas always turned up and did a good tidy and the end of the day. They were great to work with and even did some odd jobs I needed while they were there, I was exceedingly happy with the finished results and have already recommended them to friends, family and neighbours and will definitely only use them in the future.

Ashwater Construction completed a complete re design of the upper floor of our house. Keith initially advised I have plans drawn, and once completed he gave me a very detailed quote as well as a reference. The work consisted of relocation of the main bathroom, the movement of a bedroom and a re configuration of our main bedroom to include a wardrobe area and new ensuite. Keith also helped me cut costs with fitted wardrobes, which Ashwater also fitted as part of the job. The lads completing the job were great. Arrived at 8am every morning, were open to anything I needed to discuss, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of each day. Before leaving we always had a discussion about the tasks ahead. During the day as I was working at home they were also very considerate of me. The quality of the work was great, and I was always called if there was any questions or concerns from the builders. There has been a couple of snags since the work completed, and they have been on hand to quickly resolve. We didn’t have a clue what to do or how to go about having building work done. We just knew we wanted some changes to our home. Some big changes. Keith came to our home to have a chat with me and my wife to see what we wanted doing. I wanted all the work to be done by 1 company rather than having dealings with 4 or 5 different people from different companies. He made us feel at ease straight off, guiding us on what we needed (plans and planning permission) and suggesting some changes to things we wanted and suggestions of things we hadn’t thought of. We ended up having:An extension on the rear of our house to sit and enjoy the view of the garden, with Bi-fold doors. An extension at the side of our home, to have a study, a utility room and extend a room. A Complete new bathroom, with a shower cubicle built into an existing cupboard. All tiled.A complete new downstairs toilet. All tiled. A Complete new kitchen with all appliances. All tiled. Over 100 Square Metres of flagging. (Including removing a front garden ).Over 40 Metres wooden garden fence replacing. A Porch (a massive one, big enough for a Christmas tree).All of the windows replacing in the house and new ones in the newly built rooms.New laminate flooring throughout. We didn’t realise how much work all this was really going to be, but we are so happy that we picked “Ashwater Construction” to do it all. Once the work started, we did not feel as though we had workmen in, it was more like we had known Keith, Mark, Kev and Geoff for ages, they ensured that we knew exactly what was being done, in what order and also that we were not being inconvenienced too much by what was going on around us as we were still living in the house whilst the work was being done. They started work as soon as they arrived on site, stopped for lunch then worked through until finishing time. They all have truly brilliant work ethics. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they always tidied up before they left site. Any problems there were, were met with solutions. Following the initial visit Keith followed up with a well thought through comprehensive detailed run down of everything needed and the prices. He was always quick to come back to us whenever we had any questions. Keith and his team were on time everyday. Having workmen in your home is never easy, but we always felt comfortable and they were considerate given we were working from home during the build. We had a small playroom built downstairs at the front of the house. An extension to the side for a utility and Re-fits for the bathroom and en-suite. All the work was done to a high standard. They engaged constructively with us throughout. They were happy to offer solutions when we weren’t sure how to proceed. All in all I would say I couldn’t fault Keith and his team at all. So glad I chose Ashwater construction. A brilliant job replacing windows and door. They are professional, punctual friendly and would highly recommend.

The job was to create a open plan living/dining/kitchen space, fit roof lanterns and 6m wide Bi-fold doors, job finished in 9 weeks. Highly recommend Keith, Mark, Kev and Geoff and have already shared their details with friends. Quality of finish is great, lots of good suggestions and ideas, finished roughly on time even though we added a few “extra’s” along the way. Budget was reasonably well controlled but with all builds it’s always prudent to have a decent sized (20%) contingency fund. The lads were always happy to help and ensured we still had some level of functioning kitchen, the back of the house was always left secure and clean. Some of the basics like, being on time, arriving when they say they would were 100% (and you can’t say that about all builders) Choosing the right builder can be a nightmare as we found to our detriment 15 years ago, however having done my own research, talked with previous customers I felt reasonably sure Keith and the team at Ashwater were right for us - I was proved absolutely right and we’ll never use anyone else! Thanks to Keith and the team we have an amazing living space that we love and is the envy of friends and family!

Keith, Mark and the team were professional and tireless in carrying out our build. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had helpful ideas and advice. We love our kitchen /diner and bathroom and despite running into unexpected problems and a pandemic, the build was completed on time. We have recommended them to friends and will be using Ashwater again for future projects.

We approached Ashwater Construction to undertake a single storey ground floor renovation at our home. We had met a few firms but Keith stood out from day 1 and came up with some great suggestions regarding our project. During the whole job nothing was too much trouble, if we wanted something done, even if it was a challenge he would make sure it would happen. Keith, Mark, Kevin and the rest of the team were great lads, turned up every morning with a big smile on their faces and felt like they became part of the family. They made sure every night they left the house clean and tidy and made us a makeshift kitchen so we were able to stay there right through the building work. We couldn’t believe how much they got done in a day, the whole job was done in a really quick time, it was exciting coming home each night to see what they had done and they always made time to have a chat with us about what they had done and what they had planned for the next day so we always knew what to expect. What we really liked was their friendliness, and banter, asking our children about school, just genuine, hardworking nice fellas. The finished job is amazing, literally exceeded our expectations We would 100% recommend Ashwater. .

Another job well done! This is the third project Keith, Mark and the team at Ashwater have done for us, this one being the largest and most complex - a loft conversion with a large dormer structure and associated works, including the installation of a whole new loft floor to achieve adequate headroom. The resulting work has transformed the house internally, providing an additional large bedroom, and bringing sun and light into the lower floors, and, externally, the full length dormer to the rear looks really neat. The team have also been patient and accommodating in carrying out additional works we have requested along the way. All done on time and within budget. Keith, Mark and the team provide a professional, reliable and friendly service, and we would not hesitate in using them on future projects.

Keith, Mark, Kev and the team are top quality professionals. Our bathroom and office renovation was done to a very high standard on time. Always good with communication, plenty of advices on where and what appliances and materials to buy (we chose to do this ourselves) to get the most cost effective items. We have asked them to come back to do more renovation work for us already! Highly recommended if you are looking for a high quality finish.

Keith from Ashwater was very honest and advised us to have some calculations done as our job was a tricky one. We took his advice and he supplied us with a detailed quote which we were happy with. Keith and the lads just got on with it, nothing was too much trouble and they progressed very quickly, leaving me with a functioning home at the end of each day. They knocked 2 rooms into 1, installed Velux windows and extensive supporting beams in my roof, installed numerous radiators, plastered and aesthetically matched the ceiling and floor heights in each room. The lads didn’t stop from the time they arrived at my house until the time they went home and they were a great bunch who liked a little banter and a cup of tea or two. I would have Keith back to do more work without hesitation and recommend his and his teams work to anyone. They are honest, reliable and have a wealth of building experience between them. I am thrilled with the results, my home looks beautiful.

Such a brilliant experience with Ashwater Construction! I have never had anything like this done before and with jobs and 3 kids was a little nervous about how we would cope while they did our kitchen extension. Keith was honest about what to expect throughout so that along with looking forward to getting home every night after work to see what they had done, made the experience brilliant. These guys don't stop! They had such horrible weather to contend with but they found a way to progress. I totally trusted Keith, Kev and Mark to get on with it while we were at work and was getting lovely reports back from neighbours saying "they are so respectful" and how "they had been working so hard all day! Ashwater have recently completed our single storey rear extension and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! We had a number of quotes from different builders but whilst Ashwater weren’t the cheapest they were the most helpful, most keen to do the work and had recently completed a very similar extension. The work was completed to a really high standard in just 8 weeks. Keith, Kevin and Mark worked really hard and a big plus for me was that there was somebody working every day and you could see a big difference every night when getting in from work! One worry was keeping the neighbours happy during the work but both sets of neighbours commented that the guys were really good and kept them in the loop with what was happening. We lived in the house during the works and they tidied up really well each night which was a relief with a 20month old running around. They even managed to keep our kitchen going throughout the works (although it was a bit rough and ready! ) Highly recommended!

We've been disappointed with some tradesmen over the years so we were apprehensive about starting such a big project but we were so lucky to be recommended Ashwater. Keith, Kevin and Mark were punctual, reliable, polite, hard-working and honest. The additional tradesmen were the same. Our neighbours were also happy so there were no problems there. Our extension was finished on time and we used Ashwater at literally every stage from planning to finish which reduced our stress as we didn't have to do anything. We were given lots of sound advice which helped our new extended kitchen look so great and everyone who visits is very impressed. Ashwater has continued to do other much needed work on the house-gutters, extensive paving, internal renovations and like the kitchen all has been completed to a very high standard. We would highly recommend Ashwater.

We had Ashwater undertake a room conversion from a utility room/outhouse to a garden room. They have been fantastic. Really good work, really great team, highly reliable and great communication. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend Keith, Mark and the whole team at Ashwater. They were polite, hard working and their standard or work is second to none. We had them remove some load bearing walls opening up our downstairs, supply and fit a kitchen, fit a bathroom, re plaster, re wire, install new radiators and replace our gutters and soffits. Nothing was too much for them and they were always on hand to give ideas. We will definitely use them again and recommend their work to family and friends.

We were dreading having such extensive work done at the same time as having a baby but you made it as stress- free and comfortable as it could possibly have been and made sure we never did without anything. Special thanks for making sure it was always clean and safe at the end of each day for our two year old to run around in. From day one you understood exactly what we wanted and gave us some amazing ideas, in particular our sky lights, which are our favourite part. Keith and his team were great and very friendly! They managed to fit us in within a space of a week. They did a great job and always tidied up at the end of the day. We had a wall knocked through, artex ceiling covered and lots of plastering - highly recommend as they also went out of their way to help us with other enquiries as first time home owners!
