I contacted Beverley Ambulance Service to talk about moving my mother from a Care Home in Sutton Surrey to one nearer to where I live in East Yorkshire. I cannot speak highly enough of the service they provided from going down the night before, settling my mother throughout the journey to the updates provided throughout the journey on progress and state of my mother. An incredibly caring service provided through out.

I contacted this company for a reasonable price to move my mother who was 80 nearer to me in Hastings' after fathers passing. A small family run and very accommodating company who was able to negotiate and fair and reasonable price for doing so. After speaking to the Business owner Karen she was able to explain cost and procedure to me about the safe transfer of mum. She not only took on board the key aspects of mothers care but she also explained that she would contact the care home she was in herself and negotiate and organise the safe transfer of mum. Not only could she accommodate the whole safe transfer off all mums positions out of her room but also let my two nieces travel instead of getting the train from mums family welcome to Hastings. Karen and Mikes crews were not only favourably the best ambulance service I have used but she was able to allow the crew to let mother endure fish and chips on the sea front on the stretcher as one last wish when her and father lived down here. One of the best memories sentimentally served forthwith. Her and my nieces needs were also met with complimentary food and drink comfort stops and regular phone call update all the way down. I can not thank this ambulance crew/service for there bespoke work and creativeness around mothers transfer. And I may also would like to say the care home she was leaving was astonished at the above and beyond tick box that in there eyes was quite frankly ticked as I assume they thought that they would have to pack her things and send them separately, this took a huge strain of mine and our families shoulders. Mother is now settled and quite frequently asked could she call an ambulance as she would like to go for fish and chips, Dementia friendly is what they were she certainly hasn't forgotten.
