Bushcraft Adventures

I have used Bushcraft Adventures several times over the years to book activities. Steph organised a great day of activities for our veterans group, everyone had a great day. Steph is very knowledgeable about the outdoors and all the activities were good fun and safe. We will definitely come back again. Thanks.

We had the most amazing party for our son last weekend. If I could give 10 stars I would. From start to finish the communications are flawless, any questions are answered immediately. Rachel had the unfortunate job of calling me a few days before to cancel party due to the severe weather warnings (which were 100% accurate). She offered me several other options, and we rearranged the next day! The day was still wet, and as a panicked parent I wondered what these kids could possibly do in the wet outdoors! ? ……. ……Obviously I am clueless as 12 very happy children ran around den building, lighting fires, making smores and having a wonderful adventure. The adults couldn't believe the size of the place when they came to collect their smoke-smelling, wet, happy children! One parent described the place as "a snowless Lapland". Bushcraft were at Margam Park today with an introduction to firelighting for children. A truly amazing experience for our 2 grandchildren who were totally involved. They were so patient in helping them with their skills. Thank you so much.

I am a teacher from Caerphilly who has experienced x2 sessions with year 1 and year 5 students. Each session was really enjoyable for everyone concerned. The kids loved it and all the staff were inspired by how the children worked together and were persistent in tasks set. Steph was amazing with the children and I’d recommend the experience to every teacher.

My daughters had a fabulous joint Bushcraft Adventure birthday party. Steph was brilliant at getting everyone involved and the girls loved doing the den building and fire lighting. Toasting marshmallows over the fire that they’d built and lit themselves, was the perfect ending to an amazing adventure!

Thank you to Steph and Rachel for an amazing bushcraft party. My son thoroughly enjoyed his 7th birthday, and wants to go back next year for an archery party! His friends had a wonderful time, and their parents say they talked about it non-stop afterwards. It was great to do something different, and the setting in the woods is beautiful. I highly recommend Buschraft Adventures for a unique fun-filled party!

We had a bushcraft party for our 10 year old daughters birthday last weekend. What a fantastic afternoon it was! The girls loved every minute of fire lighting, den building, eating bugs and the experience as a whole! Steph was great with kids, kept them engaged throughout the whole party and made it a really fun experience! Would definitely recommend!

Fab 3 hours spent in the woods for a joint 7 year old birthday party. All 15 boys had a great time with the activities being well planned, organised, educational and fun. Steph was great with the kids and the food was yummy. Even some of the boys loved eating bugs! Would recommend.

Hello Steph. Thank you for making my daughter's 14th birthday one to truly remember. All the girls had a fantastic time and were kept engaged from the minute they arrived. All the activities were a real hit, and it was amazing to see how engrossed they all were with their fire lighting endeavours! Infact they didn't want to leave!

Bushcraft Adventures organised the best birthday party my kids have ever had! It was so great to see the kids happily playing in such a beautiful setting. They really got into the archery, and also loved firefighting and making s’mores over the open fire. Lots of wonderful memories made.

My daughter and her friends thoroughly enjoyed this unique birthday experience. They loved learning practical skills in a beautiful environment. Steph was fantastic with the kids, demonstrating but more importantly allowing them to get "hands on" building fires, dens etc. The bbq was well received with good quality food options available. What a fantastic time we had at Bushcraft Adventures. As a group of 40-60yr olds celebrating milestone birthdays it was a big ask to entertain us but Steph and Rachel are amazing hosts and created a relaxed, fun atmosphere for us. We did fire lighting, archery and a little bushtucker trial for the birthday girls. The 2 hours flew by and we could quite easily have enjoyed a full morning there! Even using the toilets caused much screeching and laughter! We all loved every minute. Thank you Rachel and Steph!

In my 10 year olds granddaughters own words, awesome party, best ever. 3 hours just flew by. The children learned fantastic new skills. Even the adults that stayed are wanting a party for themselves. Steph had a fantastic way with the children.

My son had an absolutely amazing 9th birthday party - the feedback from the other children backed this up. We were really impressed with everything and thoroughly enjoyed it ourselves too. Thank you Steph for making such an effort to make sure everyone had a great time.

We had our son’s tenth birthday party with Steph at Bushcraft Advebtures and it was a huge success. He and his friends had a wonderful time - as did we. Steph was organised and efficient in the run up to the party and was great fun on the day. The kids enjoyed all the activities but especially the archery. It was done in a way that was fun and challenging, without being too competitive. A great, fun party. Great value. My daughter is already planning her next party with Steph at Bushcraft a Adventures!

Even on what was a freezing cold day, I don’t think the children (and Rich ! ) at Lola’s party would have wanted to have been anywhere else ! There was fire making and sausage cooking and den building and bug eating and tree climbing and s’mores. They all left muddier, smelling of campfires, with pink cheeks, wearing the name pendants they had made and clutching their bushcraft certificates tightly. Thank you Steph for giving Lola the ‘best birthday ever’. It was fabulous.

Awesome all round. Steph personalised learning experiences for 90+ children. All needs catered for. Facilities sheltered us from rain, wind and cold. Amazing hot drinks for staff and children equipped with survival skills.

I can’t recommend this Bushcraft party enough. All the boys (and 2 adults)! Had an amazing time. Every gpart of the party was well organised, from first enquiry to the end. Great communication from Steph throughout. The boys really enjoyed it all, building fires, shelter building, bush tucker trials, the food and toasting marshmallow. Thank you very much for a fab party!

A beautiful camp fire welcomed my son and his pals for his 8th birthday! The bushcraft party was well structured allowing time for the cherubs to explore the woods. The party was the talk of the class on Monday they all loved their experience. Thank you to Steph for a fab adventure. Liam said it was the best party ever!

The birthday parties that I have held for both of my children throughout the years have almost been forgotten about. But how can a child ever forget learning how to build a fire, enjoy the fun of building a waterproof den and eating bugs like they are on 'I am a Celebrity get me out of here'? They can't and therefore will never forget a 'Brushcraft Party' This was exceptional value of money which the kids and dad helpers thoroughly enjoyed. Steph was such a lovely and thoughtful host and great with the kids. I would recommend this event to any big or small kid who likes the great outdoors.
