Tony and the team worked on installing a ventilation system in our house, plus kitchen extractor fan and external pointing. We were really impressed by their professionalism and strong work ethic. Any time we had any questions, Tony was always available to talk us through every step of the project, to make sure we were happy with the work they were doing. It's great that the team has every person you need to get jobs done (builders, plumbers, electricians) so these guys are effectively a one-stop-shop for all you need. Tony made sure he did an end of project inspection which was thorough and again, he was helpful with any questions we had. We fully recommend this team to others and will be calling them again soon for some more home improvements.

Checkmate have just completed a rather complex project on a kitchen extension at the back of our house. They delivered a prompt, fast and efficient service which was well managed by Tony the company owner. I cannot speak more highly of the work undertaken by Checkmate for me, As they say in their own advert, no job is too big or too small for them and the team have accommodated my every request without any hesitation. We started by using their service for decoration and when we talked our ideas for a new kitchen, they made suggestions which pleasantly bowled us over and we employed them with great satisfaction on all work done. They simply are a good bunch of workers, definitely no cowboys with work dome to a very high standard and such thoroughness to detail. Apart from their professionalism, I must to recommend these guys for keeping to projected time scales working long and hard to get the results I wanted and above all are decent, friendly helpful and cheerful people to have around. The quotes are not extortionate and it was a pleasure to have used them and I have no hesitation to do so again in the future.

Very reliable and hardworking staff. The staff painstakingly took time to resolve the issues with my home radiators. Even when I had to re-call them back to reconfirm the status of one of the radiators, the staff speedily came back without hesitation to resolve the problem. Exhibited quality service delivery.

I recently used Checkmate for a w. C conversion to wet room. Tony was really thorough as it wasn't a straight forward job, he consulted me and kept me updated through the whole process. Great job would definatly recommend and use again.

Tony came out and did a detailed inspection of the work that needed to be carried out and a excellent quote. On the day he turned up with his workmen and specifically laid out the way the job was to be carried out. The workmen had one brew and then started work until the jobs were completed. Then Tony returned and was only happy with the job if I was, which I was. I will definitely call them first if I need work carrying out and would highly recommend them to anyone.

CBS Ltd undertook 2 seperate jobs for me- kitchen refit and new bathroom suite. Both jobs carried out to a very high standard, in a timely manner and good value for my money. I had a good crack with the fitters and have since recommended CBS to fit my Father's new kitchen.
