Preventative Dental Care and Hygienist.
We believe that regular dental cleanings prevent the development of gum disease. This will reduce your incidence of bleeding gums and dental decay. We provide dental advice, determine if your are suitable for fluoride application, whether you will benefit from fissure sealants, and oral hygiene instruction.

Missing teeth?
If you have missing teeth we can offer a range of solutions to meet your requirements. Options available are:
• Implants.
A dental implant is used to support one or more false teeth. It is a titanium screw that can replace the root of a tooth when it fails. Just like a tooth root, it is placed into the jawbone.

• Bridges-Conventional and Minimal Preparation.

Bridges are permanently inserted false teeth that are anchored to existing teeth to fill a space in your dental arch. A bridge can serve both a functional nature (if you are missing a back tooth) to improve chewing function (to complete your smile).

• Orthodontic realignment (Braces).
Orthodontic treatment is a way of straightening or moving teeth, to improve the appearance of the teeth and how they work. It can also help to look after the long-term health of your teeth, gums and jaw joints, by spreading the biting pressure over all your teeth.
We also provide a range of orthodontic treatment including fixed braces, removable retainers, Invisalign and 6 month smile.


• Dentures (removable appliance).
Dentures are removable false teeth made of acrylic(plastic) or metal. They fit snugly over the gums to replace missing teeth and eliminate potential problems caused by gaps.
O Hard Acrylic (Plastic) denture.
O Cobalt Chrome (Metal Base) denture.
O Flexible Dentures.

Cosmetic Restoration.
If you have discoloured teeth, broken down teeth or wish to replace existing restorations (metal crowns and amalgam) we can offer where appropriate:
• Crowns-Tooth coloured "White". Can be metal free.
Crowns, simply put, are caps that are made to fit over an existing tooth and it’s filling material. They are recommended following root canal therapy to protect and restore the destructed tooth. Crowns are also useful to cosmetically improve the appearance of teeth which have extensive fillings. We’re always happy to discuss the reasons why your teeth may require these.


• Veneers.
Porcelain veneers are often used at our surgery to beautify your smile by concealing stains, chips, cracks, injuries, and misalignment. They are an excellent alternative to crowns and are virtually undetectable. Porcelain veneers are made of a type of very strong and durable ceramic material that is "cemented on" to the tooth's surface once it has been prepared by shaving off a small layer of enamel. This gives the porcelain veneer material an ideal surface to adhere to and makes room for the new material that will be added to the tooth's surface so that the veneer naturally blends with the gum line.

• Composite (white) fillings.
Amalgam metal fillings used to be the only ch.
Oice when it came to filling cavities. Our surgery now uses composite fillings as well due to the fact they are more aesthetically pleasing.

• Tooth Whitening- Tooth whitening can help eliminate stains and discolouration of teeth. This involves bleaching your teeth to make them lighter.
We offer take home professional teeth whitening systems that can be used conveniently at night. Take home teeth whitening kits take about two weeks to brighten your smile and require that your teeth are cleaned and found to be free of cavities before starting the whitening procedure. We will fit you with custom made trays that will be used to hold the teeth whitening gel against your teeth while you sleep.

Inlays.

Inlays can either be gold or porcelain materials used to replace existing conventional filling materials (such as old large amalgam fillings). They are stronger and more resilient than composite and amalgam filling materials and should provide a longer lifespan for the tooth.

Anti Wrinkle treatment.
We are now pleased to offer Botulinum Toxin (Botox (R)) based anti wrinkle treatments to manage lines in the forehead, glabellar (frown), peri-orbital (Crows feet) area, and the peri oral area for the lower half of the face.
