Order made 23rd Feb 2013 for a set of curtains for a kitchen. Delay in delivery but that's fine. Incorrect curtains delivered though, 77cm width ordered, 277cm width delivered! Has become a marathon effort to try and get the curtains returned - have asked repeatedly for a refund which they are refusing. Am now having to seek legal advice. Their attitude seems to be that once they have your money, you belong to them. What happened to good old fashioned customer service?

The first thing to say is that we take customer satisfaction seriously and where customers are dissatisfied we work with customers to resolve any issues they may have. In this situation things got more problematic due to the issues we had trying to organise a courier to collect the curtains from you. This meant there was a delay getting your order returned to us in good time. Once we received the goods back we made the necessary alterations and returned the curtains to you 2 days after we received them.
We have a step by step online ordering process plus a measuring guide which has been in use for the past 4 years. For the most part people have found it straightforward to follow.Although we are an internet based business, we encourage customers to pick the phone up at anytime to discuss their order with us or any questions they may have.Our Terms & Conditions are similar to all other online made to order soft-furnishing retailers. If there is a mistake (the customer’s or ours) we take the curtains back and rectify the issue. If we cannot supply the customer with what they ordered then we will refund their money. In fact we will happily cancel a customers order and give a 100% refund right up until the point we have cut the fabric or started the work.
