Dan is a great drummer and a great coach. I needed help to progress and develop after years of bad habits and very little instruction. I only dreamt about fast paradiddles and playing more interesting grooves and time signatures. With the skill of an excellent teacher and the credibility of an accomplished musician, Dan changed my grip, challenged my skills and made me reach beyond my current level of ability. I rediscovered reading drum music and Dan has helpfully written out scores for songs that I am working on so my learning has purpose. His exercises always stretch me and there is always something new in technique, rudiments, time signatures and helpful hints on sticking. I have been playing for decades but the last 18 months has moved me forward like no other time in my drumming experience. So whether you are 5 or 65 this guy will teach you well and you will be a better drummer as a result! .
