My daughter has had piano lessons for the past seven years with Emma. In that time she has achieved so much, reaching Grade 5 in piano and Grade 3 Theory. Emma is an excellent teacher, who is very patient and calm, always bringing out the best in my daughter. Emma understands completely the best way to teach my daughter taking into consideration other studies she had to do at school. At the end of each lesson Emma always explained about how the lesson went and ways forward for the week ahead and discussing practice suggestions. Emma always consults with parent and pupil with regards to exams and work books. Highly recommended, can not thank Emma enough for everything my daughter has achieved. Thank you.

My two daughters have learnt with Emma for several years now. I am extremely happy with their progress. They both have very different personalities and learning styles. Emma has bent over backwards to make the girls comfortable and to enjoy their lessons. When my one daughter had anxiety over her exams Emma was really patient and worked through the issues with her. They are both working through their grades very confidently now. They also enjoy the annual concert that Emma arranges to show off their progress!

My son has been tutored by Emma for several years now, he was struggling with previous tutors that I had found for him and I was recommended Emma by a parent whose daughter had been successful in her 11+ exam. My son settled in straight away and found Emma to be very approachable and very patient. Emma identified key development areas for my son and ensured he was comfortable with what he had learnt before moving on to the next subject. The subjects that she covered were Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths. Homework was set each week and I ensured this was completed and highlighted key areas that I identified that my son needed to focus on. This was always addressed immediately and I can confirm that due to Emma’s help, patience and commitment my son received above national expectation in his last school report for Maths, the one subject that he was really struggling in. My 2 daughters have being going to Emma, for about 1 year, and I have seen very good improvement. They have also being doing Piona with Emma which they theorly enjoy. My youngest daughter cannot sit still for very long yet she has improved with Emma a great deal as Emma comunicates with her with a great deal of pacience. I have just recived my daughters interim reports from there school and they are above their expected grades.

My 9 year old daughter began maths tuition with Emma in October. After just a few lessons, the school noticed a big difference in her work and they moved her to a higher set. She has continued to make excellent progress, with her confidence growing and growing. She now takes English less with Emma too. Emma is professional,yet friendly and relaxed. The one-to-one tuition is exactly what my daughter needed. The lessons are tailored to her needs and they work at her pace, with feedback given each week. My daughter looks forward to her lesson and I couldnt be more pleased.

We have known Emma for over 3 years. During this time she has been teaching our daughter the piano. Emma has a very good personality and her friendly, patient approach to tuition has proven very successful with our daughter who has reached a very good standard. Emma has also given our daughter English Language and Arithmetic tuition which she has carried out to our complete satisfaction.
