DD Wilson Gas Engineers

This is the second time I've chosen DD Wilson to do some work for me. Got a quote to replace three radiators on Thursday and had the job done the very next day! Darren called me on morning of the job as he had some difficulty obtaining one of the radiators as it was an awkward size. He didn't give up trying and eventually managed to secure a suitable alternative. One of the DD Wilson team Keith turned up an hour later and removed the old radiators and fitted the new ones. He was very polite and was neat and tidy in his work of which I was very satisfied with. Big up to Darren for not giving up (unlike my team Everton) and obtaining a suitable sized radiator. If there was a league for Gas Fitters then DD Wilson would surely be crowned Champions! Big thanks once again to Darren and Keith for another job well done. Forget the rest. Use the best. I have had a new boiler plus the gas for my cooker moved as well as 2 radiators fitted and I can’t speak highly enough about DD Wilson. Everything from the first visit to the final install has been 1st class and I would highly recommend using them.

I had a combi boiler fitted all I can say this company goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy from Darren the owner the girls on the phone and the gas fitters. The work was completed in a day no mess whatsoever so polite and job completed to five star if I could I would give them even more than 5star. A lovely genuine family business that takes customer care to the highest level Thank you Darren and the team.

Top draw service and work. Nothing was too much trouble for DD Wilson’s Team they fitted a new boiler at a good price (much cheaper than a big national company) and to an excellent standard with all work certified and accredited. The lads took all the rubbish from the job and were a pleasure to have in our home. Thanks to DD Wilson Team.

I choose to get a quote for a new boiler from DD Wilson because my friend recommended them. I was really happy with the quote and even more so with the work carried out. They were fantastic! Arrived on time, changed my old boiler for a new eco combi boiler, gas and water pipes fitted to a very high standard, removed old loft and storage water tanks, covered flooring and surfaces while working, explained how to use my new heating system and provided all guarantees and gas safe builders cert. The engineers worked really hard and It was completed in one day. What stood out about this company is the excellent customer care and workmanship. They are a family business and are dedicated to making sure their customers are happy with the job. I have an amazingly warm house now and am extremely happy ? After putting up with dodgy radiators and cold showers for the past two years I’d had enough and contacted Darren. He called to sort out a quote and fitted me in at a time of my choosing due to work. Then the guys came out at the time stated, 9am and got to work right away. I had a new boiler and 5 new radiators which includes a heated towel radiator in the bathroom ( always wanted one of them) also have the Hive system. The guys were friendly and tidied up after themselves, and all was finished by 3pm. Really pleased with everything especially now there’s no more cold showers.

From start to the finish of the whole process, DD Wilson have been amazing. They were recommended to us after we had over the previous 12 months been given different quotes and different reasons as to why our heating system wasn’t working correctly from other companies. Darren and Lewis arrived on time to survey and asses our system and gave us a full and honest explanation as to why our system wasn’t effective. They told us what we would need and why, and gave us a price and a potential start date and also an estimation on how long the work would be carried out. We went ahead. From that point on we were given a confirmed start date advised how to arrange the room ready for the engineers which made things a lot less stressful for us. Sean and Mick arrived on time day 1 and literally never stopped for 3 days. They were replacing our entire system converting very old heat only with cylinder and loft tanks to combi. The lads were amazing really easy to get on with and approachable. They kept the house clean throughout, kept us updated on everything they were doing and why. Their attention to detail was 100% and were totally professional and you could see how much pride they took in their work. During the works Darren also popped back to see how things were going, and came on the final day once it had been completed with a nice bouquet of flowers for my Wife, which was a lovely gesture. Over the years we have had many companies completing work but DD Wilson are on another level. Their customer service is 100% and it literally is all about the customer and ensuring they are happy, but also they are a genuine and honest company and that is very rare. We contacted Darren and his team when our boiler developed a leak. Darren called out promplty and advised that we needed a new boiler fitted. He gave us a good quote and even arranged that a fitter would call out on Saturday so that we wouldn't be without heating or hot water over the weekend. The fitter turned up exactly when we were told he would and completed the work very quickly. He also removed all waste and left the area very clean. I would happily reccomend DD Wilson to any one who required this kind of work carrying out and would be happy to use them again myself.

Boss job! Quoted for and managed by Darren and carried out by Shaun and Al. Our's was a big job replacing a complete outdated heating system in an old house so plenty of things to go wrong or trip them up but they handled it all amazingly. They were always willing to answer questions and give us updates. Honest hard working lads, we are really happy with the quality of the work! They are all really passionate about their work at DD wilson, they take great pride in what they do! Love that it's a local family business too would recommend to anyone.

"Where can I start this family run great company have got me out of a really bad situation I was ripped off by cowboy plumbers who repiped my whole house and refitted all of my radiators with plastic pipe. They destroyed all my ceilings, carpets, laminate flooring, floorboards, they used 15 mil pipe throughout my whole house and left my house unsafe for my two children. Darren and his team not only came on short notice give me a good price ripped out all the new pipe work from the cowboys and refitted copper pipe work and all my radiators leaving me and my family safe and happy I could not recommend this company enough they have been amazing to me and my family thank you darren and your team you have truly been amazing I can’t thank you enough".

Got in touch with this company today, after after a couple of hours one of his guys were at my door, I’m so happy I chose them! Super affordable, and so quick, in less than 20 min a pipe was cut and tapped. And installed in safely! Amazing job Thank you so much ? .

Our boiler broke at the weekend Darren came out on Monday and quoted for a new, better, boiler. The next day Sean and Paul came and went the extra mile to fit it, despite a number of difficulties. A really excellent job, all done quickly, cleanly and efficiently.
