Excellent company that really cares about doing a great job. I am so grateful to Scott for coming so quickly and sorting out our blocked drain which was flooding the bathroom and causing a lot of distress. Scott was polite, provided an excellent service and most importantly an expert in his field. It was a complex job but he knew exactly what the problem was and it was fixed within the hour. Worth every penny. I will definitely use Dial a Rod again. Much better and more efficient than the larger competitors. Thank you.
Would definitely recommend Dial-a-Rod. Great service and spoke through what the issue was on the phone and the potential causes/ solutions before attending the property in person. Competed a thorough CCTV survey of the drains and checked for any leaks. Spoke through what was found and what needed to be done very clearly at all stages. A very positive experience all round.
Dis-honest and will overcharge. Dis-honest and will overcharge. Do not use. Refused to accept that the job was finished after 1. 5 hours, stood chatting for 30 minutes off topic then billed for 2 hours at £165 per hour plus VAT…Followed by a tirade of abuse over email and phone when I tried to apply common sense.
Terrible, terrible service. As a landlord I had arranged for this company to inspect a blocked drain in our rented out flat. They turned up the very same day I contacted them, and where let in to the flat by our tenants - so far so good. After stating they needed access to the rear of the property, they left the flat and never returned. Eventually, after waiting for more than 30mins wondering where the plumbers had gone our tenants rang us to say they were worried. After several calls to the plumber who attended the call out, we got through and were told they would not return to the flat as the contract was with the landlord who 'failed to turn up to the property' and not the tenants! ? Please note, that during the confirmation phone call to say they would be arriving in 15mins time I explained to the plumber (Steve) that my tenant would show him/them in. At no point during that phone call, did he (or indeed during the initial inspection of the flat from being let in by my tenants) state their was an issue with being shown to the blocked drain/pipe by the tenants. Eventually when my wife did get through to him, he was considerably rude to her over the phone, used an aggressive tone, and did not show any interest in trying to come to an understanding. Poor service Dial-a-Rod, very poor service indeed! I would NOT recommend.Moreexpand_more
We recently had a blocked sewerage system and DIAL A ROD were called out to clear the blockage, the staff were very courteous and punctuality to the assigned time was refreshing to be able to have a scheduled time for the work to be done. I would highly recommend these plumbers/drain clearance company on the basis of their high level of customer service at reasonable rates.
