Sometimes it’s better to go with a recommendation or from having witnessed excellent work. This was just such a fortunate occasion. Dave is in high demand and very busy and therefore you may have to wait for him to become available. Our patience was amply rewarded. We needed a full garden revamp, removal of borders and conifers, a new patio and drainage, and a new lawn. In addition 15 fence panels and a gate were replaced. All this was done at a fair and competitive price. Dave and Mark were friendly, punctual, tidy and meticulous in their work. We also appreciated the useful advice as the work progressed. Having been impressed with fence replacements done on a neighbours property, we had no reservations about asking for a quote for similar work to be done on our property. The work entailed 11 replacement panels (1 panel had to be shortened) and 3 bespoke panels to be inserted between brickwork. The quality of the work was of a very high standard, and we are very pleased with the final result. Dave and Mark are very personable, work very hard, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who require their gardening/groundwork expertise.

DWG came highly recommended to us by a number of people so we decided to ask for a quote. We chose them to do the work and had a bit of a wait because they are popular, Dave works mainly on his own and Covid was thrown into the mix too! It was well worth the wait as Dave completely transformed our large back garden. This chap works his socks off! Ours was a big 2/3 week job. He did 14 new fence panels, completely dug up the entire back garden and put in drainage, a new york stone patio and wrap around paths to each side of the house, plus a complete returf of the garden then dug in 3 flower beds complete with plants. Excellent service and quality from start to finish. We had decking built by David who is a master at work and whose attention to detail is magnificent. Excellent value for money!

Dave and Mark worked extremely hard. The garden was definitely in need of work when they arrived. We had a new large decking area and slate placed in other part of the garden. December 2020 work to remove a long conifer hedge was carried out and a new length of fencing was installed. The whole process was undertaken efficiently and the work done was first class. We are going to have Dave back to carry out another project in the garden.

Tree, bush and shrub planting after removing a stretch of lawn. Dave visited to give excellent advice without any commitment from us. During the summer of 2019 David remodeled our front garden which received many compliments from neighbours and passers by. We had no hesitation in asking him to undertake the much larger task of redesigning our back garden. This resulted in another superb job. He provided excellent advice. Dave and Mark recently spent 4 days installing new fences and pruning and lopping trees in our garden. 2nd time we have worked with them. The quality of their work is excellent and they left the garden looking so much better with neatly manicured trees and new fencing. But most importantly they were extraordinarily tidy whilst working and left no mess at all on completion of the project, despite the ground being saturated. Competent, friendly and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

A friendly, professional, hardworking team and unbelievable value. I have to say they did everything I asked and more. Communication was excellent and they worked fast and hard in all weathers. From the first visit to them leaving I felt at ease. Dave visited to see what I wanted, not an easy task as it was the whole large garden I wanted maintenance free. Patio, borders made smaller and done so weeds won't grow, gravelled feature areas, and a large 4 tiered pot stand. I received a detailed quote with costs for each item and he was unbelievable value. Book him early he and his team are stars.

Dave has been looking after our VERY tall hedges for a few years. He is friendly, always does an great job, never leaves a mess and charges exactly what he says he will. He also rescued us when we had storm damaged gates, coming out at short notice to get the garden secure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave.

Dug up unused veg patches and overgrown parts of the rear garden, cleared out an old dog shed and a rotting side gate; flagged garden, cleared site and replaced gate. Everything done exactly as specified - work started on time, and came in on budget; amazed at how much Dave did in such a short space of time! Dave was recommended by work he did for in-laws, who had seen work he'd done for a neighbour, etc… Great, friendly service - will use again for front garden.

DWG have done an amazing makeover of my garden. A birthday gift from an amazing friend. It will literally change our lives, we now have the perfect garden for my grand-daughter and our new puppy to enjoy. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
