Gill and Claire were delightful to work with and made really good improvements to my initial ideas. Some minor delays did creep in, but that is only a reflection of how much in demand they are and their refusal to take shortcuts .

We engaged with Gill and Claire in October 2024, to discuss a media cupboard incorporating a radiator cover. Due to our delay (flooring) we had our media cabinet fitted last week. It is beautiful. And more than we expected, the finish is remarkable. We are absolutely delighted with it. Gill and Claire have been exceptionally understanding and attentive throughout the whole process. We will be having them back in the future.

I needed a cabinet to store all my photo gear, currently spread through drawers and boxes and help me keep it all tidy (and stop my wife telling me off for using the dining table as storage area between shoots). So I sent over some specifications and after a home consult we agreed on design and materials. The final cabinet is, simply, excellent work: great craftsmanship with top quality components - and the white American oak they recommended fits well with the other furniture in the room. When looking for a cabinet maker one of my key factors was someone who would use their experience to advise on the small details and they met that fully. Absolutely first class from start to finish. Claire and Gill were great to work with, they provided quotes, drawings when they said they would. The quality of their work is excellent and they problem solved to overcome the issue of one of our leds being in the wrong place! Couldn’t recommend them more to be totally honest. A 'simple set of shelves' we thought, but what we received was an incredible piece of furniture made to an extremely high quality. The whole process from design to build was seamless and Claire and Gill are a pleasure to work with.

The car industry should benchmark itself against Gill’s panel gaps. Gill and Claire have designed, made and fitted a number of pieces throughout my house. The fit and finish are simply excellent. From the initial consultation to the down-to-the-millimetre measuring and then fitting, and on to the cleaning up after themselves, they have displayed outstanding professionalism. They also happen to be nice people with a warm, approachable style. I loved the notion of making the cost of materials the source of the deposit, thus locking in a fixed price in these inflationary times. You would expect work of this quality to attract a pipeline, and you will have to wait. The wait is worth it and they come highly recommended. .

Delighted with final product. Great design process with guidance and creativity. Worth noting that we had a Neville Johnson wardbrobe fitted 2 years ago and the standard is not as good as what has been fitted by the Martinez team. A very high standard and a hard working team. .

Wow. Gill Martinez cabinets are something else. True craftsmanship. The quality is outstanding and the customer experience is the best we’ve had for many years. Gill and Clare communicated really well and were honest and transparent with pricing and timeline for installation. The actual installation was very well executed. They were in and out like two little elves leaving us with a wonderful set of cabinets in our dining room. Lovely people. We are about to put in another order for the bedroom! .

Gill and Claire have done a fantastic job on our cabinet. From the start their customer service was first class, responding to calls and emails quickly. Their consultation focused solely on helping us get exactly what we wanted, providing advice and asking questions to us that we hadn’t thought of. Installation was efficient, I think the carpet was cleaner than when they started. Final product is of such high quality. I’d highly recommend.

Claire and Gill were amazing from start to finish. They took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted and amended designs until it was perfect. They then installed the unit in one day. It is absolutely perfect and such high quality. Would highly recommend and definitely use their service again!
