Hannah is a wonderful teacher and a talented musician. She has taught my Grandson as a beginner and given him an excellent foundational technique, has taught me as a more experienced guitarist and opened up many new aspects to my playing which has been very inspiring! Many thanks! Mark.
Our daughter has been having 1-1 ukulele lessons with Hannah for over a year, Hannah is patient and goes at my daughter’s pace and this means my daughter is comfortable with Hannah and enjoys her weekly lessons. Hannah is organised and very good with communication. Would recommend! Thanks Hannah :).
If you want guitar lessons with an awesome individual then you must see Hannah. Not only is she an amazing guitar player, she is a very understanding teacher. She takes things at your pace so you can get better and gives amazing tips to help you along on your path to being able to shred! I can’t recommend her enough, so do get in touch with her if you want to play. Been having lesson with her for just over a year now and I am getter better each time I go.
We feel so lucky to have found Hannah. A dedicated, reliable and professional teacher, who knows just how to get the best results for our daughter. Sophie looks forward to her lessons and improves week on week. We couldn’t ask for more.
Hannah has taught my daughter ukulele, guitar and music theory. My daughter reached grade 5 on the ukulele. Hannah is very enthusiastic and supportive of students. She encourages them and helps them to work towards their musical goals. A great teacher.
Helped me get through Rockschool Grade 1 and 2 Male Vocals first time. Found ways to help me understand the requirements and didn't use a one way fits all approach. I'm almost 60 and a drummer, so not the easiest pupil. Carrying on now with Grade 2 vocals and guitar. ? .
Hannah has been my tutor for over 5 years now and my playing and knowledge of all things guitar have improved immeasurably over that time having been self taught up to that point. Lessons can be tailored to what you want to get out of them and can cover everything from techniques to scales to tackling favourie songs you may have. Skype lessons work well too!
Hannah is a very experienced musician, with many live band and solo gigs, and three albums under her belt. She has excellent teaching qualifications and experience too. Hannah has a very clear, friendly and patient teaching style, with high standards but plenty of encouragement, demonstration and explanation when problems need addressing. Sadly I started learning bass late (well into my 50s) but her cheerful, dedicated and positive attitude to teaching makes a potentially daunting learning curve enjoyable and rewarding. .
Hannah is an excellent teacher with the enthusiasm needed to make lessons fun yet productive. She is always smiling and is happy to go over things if need be, until its fully understood. She is a very thorough teacher, checking your understanding before moving on. Great value for money and very punctual. Hannah is highly recommended.
At 58 years of age I decided I wanted to learn to play the ukulele. I chose Hannah because of her professional teaching qualifications. I have lessons every week and really enjoy them. Hannah pushes me to play the Ukulele correctly and will not accept second best. When mistakes happen (bear in mind I have only been learning 5 months so there are plenty )you never feel told off but encouraged to try again until it's right. I feel I have made great progress in a short period of time and Hannah's style of teaching certainly works for me.
Hannah offers a professional and friendly service. I have no musical background but hannah has made learning the ukulele fun and easy. She has a great way of explaining the complicated stuff in a way I would understand. Within a small space of time she has even tought me to read music. Great value for money as she has tones of musical knowledge. Hannah is also very professional and keeps me updated on upcoming lessons and availability.
Have previously been taught basic chords and a few songs, but on coming to Hannah, asked her to teach me to play GUITAR and not just parrot-fashion tunes. I am now swimming in scales and modes, caged system chords, diatonic harmonies, as well as many and varied warm-up finger exercises. Thanks Hannah, more of the same please. X.
