Helen… I really don’t know where to start! She’s friendly, funny and amazingly talented at what she does! Her make up is incredible. She knows exactly what to do to compliment everyone’s on personal style be it full glam or very subtle make up! After the trial I knew i’d made the perfect choice with helen! On the wedding morning she joined in doing tik toks. She made calls to the wedding team on the morning to organise things when the bridal party was all tied up! She really did feel like one of the bridal party was sad when she had to leave us all! Helen uses the best of the best products and you can really really tell the quality, the make up stayed put all day didn’t budge at all despite all the happy tears! Helen is flexible and will adapt all most anything she does to make sure you’re 100% happy with your final make up look! It was a privilege to have Helen as our wedding makeup artist! She made all of my bridal party look amazing and feel so comfortable and confident, my mum in particular was glowing with confidence despite initially being worried about having her makeup done! Helen made everyone feel comfortable in pointing out anything they wanted changing (not that anyone needed that! ) I don't wear lots of makeup usually, so I wanted my wedding makeup to suit me and not look too unnatural, whilst still making me feel beautiful. Helen managed to create exactly the look I wanted. I am usually a self-conscious person but I felt so beautiful. My makeup didn't smudge at all. I cried a lot of happy tears and danced for hours (and got very sweaty! ) and yet it still looked perfect at the end of the day. The touch-up kit was such a nice idea but I barely needed it - I only needed to top up my lipstick. By the end of the morning, it really felt like Helen was a part of our bridal party. She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I hired Helen to do our makeup, but she was so much more than a makeup artist. Helen made sure our flower stems were dry before the ceremony so they didnt drip on our dresses, she helped me with the buttons on my dress because my Mum couldn't do it with her nail extensions, and even helped me into my shoes. Helen was amazing from start to finish, the booking process was super easy and Helen is honestly amazing! I wasn't too sure what I wanted and had never had my makeup done by anyone else before, Helen just knew exactly what I wanted before even I did. She also helped me to get into my dress which was just one of the ways she helped make my wedding day so special! She helped me and my bridesmaids feel at ease for the whole morning and did an absolutely amazing job of all of our makups! I was a so nervous and anxious on my wedding day. Not only was my make up perfect and lasted all day Helen was amazing, making me laugh and calming me down so I could enjoy my special day. I highly recomend Helen to anyone as a make up artist she's amazing and is such a lovely approachable person.

Having admired Helen’s work for a long time, I was delighted to meet her at my makeup trial and be welcomed by the lovely, talented, and caring lady that she is. Helen made me feel at ease and worked with me to create a look I loved during my trial. Then on my Wedding day, Helen helped ease my nerves and kept the atmosphere calm and joyful. Not only did mine and my bridesmaids makeup look flawless, but Helen also went above and beyond to help me finish getting ready. I don't even know where to start with this review! Helen is just AMAZING! She's an incredible makeup artist but she's so much more than that. I can honestly say that Helen is one of the loveliest people I've ever met. I don't wear much makeup normally and so was a little nervous about having my wedding makeup done but I didn't need to be. Helen listens to you, knows instinctively what you'll like, understands her clients and makes the whole experience so much fun! I LOVED the final result as did my bridesmaids (who all had very different wants and needs) and we just giggled the whole time. Thank you Helen for making the prep part of my wedding day brilliant ? Helen is…. WOW where do I start. You need Helen on your wedding day, as she isnt just a fab make-up artist she is a friend, a mum she is everything. She calmed me down when I had my funny 5 minutes and knew exactly what to do. You are beyond talented, you made all of us feel a million dollars. I dont love how I look usually, but looking back on the photos of our beautiful day, Helen did the most PERFECT job and I love how I looked! This is a huge step for me. I will be forever grateful to Helen for being by my side, making me laugh and for what a phenomenal job she did on our special day. You are such a beautiful person inside and out, you are such a talented individual that I cant imagine going to anyone else but you now, when I need my make over. Thank you, thank you, thank you ?.

I was so happy that you was available for my wedding and I honestly could not think of anybody else doing my makeup. What you did with your talent was amazing. Helen has done mine and my daughters make up for special occasions over the years. She is a lovely lady who is amazing at her job. She listens to what you want, takes care and time and is so talented at what she does. Very highly recommended. I hope to see her again very soon.

Helen did my wedding make up for myself, 3 bridesmaids and my mum. Not only were all of our make ups flawless, Helen also helped with my dress and completely helped to make everything feel so calm. Helen did the makeup of myself and my 2 bridesmaids for my wedding on 18th April. I booked her almost 2 years ago after doing LOTS of research. She was recommended by the wedding venue and I can see why - she is amazing! I have quite sensitive, oily skin and I’m also quite particular about my makeup. I needn’t have worried though as Helen worked her magic and I absolutely loved it. My bridesmaids loved theirs too - we looked fabulous and it lasted all day and night. Helen is such a lovely girl and so easy to talk to, she had such a positive and calming effect on the wedding morning. I’m so pleased she was part of ‘Team Bride’ on such a wonderful day. Where do I start, Myself and my mom went for our makeup trial not sure what to expect or what we wanted. Upon meeting Helen we were met by this friendly, bubbly lady who went through everything with us talking through what she was doing and what she recommended to go with our outfits, (I even picked up a few tips too). On the wedding day Helen arrived on time ready to go, the atmosphere was so relaxed it didn't feel like my wedding until the makeup was done and my dress was on, then wow! . Helen you are an artist my makeup was fantastic and so was my moms. We had so many compliments. Helen I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my day extra special. Having Helen doing my make up for my wedding day was a complete delight. She was a pleasure to deal with from my first enquiry early last year right through to waving her waving me goodbye as I set off to my wedding! It was like having a dear family friend at my house on my wedding morning. Despite me changing my mind about how I wanted my make up from my wedding trial, Helen was completely unflappable. She knew exactly what I wanted and honestly made me feel like a princess. (despite my advancing years! ) My make up did not shift at all - it looked the same at 2. 30 am as it did at 10. 00 am the previous morning. Totally amazing. My 18 year old daughter's make up was equally stunning. She cried continuously through the cathedral service and her make up didn't move! Helen made my Mum look stunning - beautiful natural make up that again didn't move. None of us had ever had our makeup professionally applied before but we all absolutely loved it!Being a second time Bride, I was almost embarrassed for having all this fuss but the money I spent on engaging Helen was the best thing I did. She made me feel beautiful, she calmed my nerves, added to the excitement and was the consummate professional. My only regret was not having her actually at the wedding itself. It felt like I'd forgotten to invite one of my friends. She even stayed behind to take photographs of me leaving for the service as the photographer had gone ahead to see my Groom. Nothing was too much trouble I won't be getting married again but I will definitely be using Helen when I have a special occasion come along…If you're reading this and are looking for a make up artist to make you feel like a princess and look like a goddess on your special day then look no further. Helen did myself, my 5 bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride and a family friends make-up on 27th Dec 18 for my Wedding. I have, quite frankly, not the best skin and was so worried about not only having make up that would cover and last but feel comfortable enough with someone to do it, and show them my 'naked' face. From the moment I met Helen she put me at ease and made me feel comfortable in her home for my trial. She listened to what I wanted and nothing was too much! She created beautiful looks for all of our bridal party, and even at the last minute managed to fit in my sister in law, who had originally planned to do her own make up but quickly after seeing Helen at work wanted hers done also. Helen was with us until I literally walked down the aisle, after giving me a little care kit to top up my make up if needed. All of our make up lasted throughout the day and evening, even after some of the make up started being applied at 6am. We had lots of compliments! I can't thank and recommend Helen enough. I Booked Helen just under 2 years before my wedding and every step of the way she couldn’t of been more helpful! The trial I didn’t know what I wanted my make-up to look like and so took on board what I wanted and incorporated her skills and made me look and feel amazing and that was only my Trial. My Wedding day Helen was brilliant so friendly and most of all kept me calm, my make-up stayed in place all day I wore false lashes and they didn’t at all feel uncomfortable I forgot I was wearing them to be honest. The lipstick she chose complimented my skin and dress. I cant thank helen enough for what she did and deffintly recommend to any brides. Thanks again Helen. Love Emily xx.

Well where do I even start? …. I booked Helen over 2 years ago, I think she was the 4th person I had booked, after the venue, registrar and photographer. I originally found helen from just a simple google search and she was at the top of the list on the search. I looked through pictures and thought WOW this woman can sure do some amazing makeup, so I thought I'd message Helen and see if she was available - and she was! So I quickly decided to book Helen even though I had never met her or spoken over the telephone, I just had a feeling that everything would be ok. I have spent the last 18 months watching all the other beautiful brides have fantastic make up done by Helen and was waiting in anticipation for my big day which felt like a lifetime away. I later met Helen for the first time at a wedding Fayre at Burntwood Rugby Club last year and from when I met Helen, I just knew that everything was going to be a million miles away from just "ok" - I knew I was in for an absolutely phenomenal make over. It finally came to my trial in July/August 2017. I showed helen a few pictures of the look I wanted and she just worked from that. I didn't see what she was doing throughout the process until she handed me her mirror to have the first look at my makeup. I lifted the mirror and looked into it and just the most incredible feeling ran through me, I couldn't believe it was me. I felt a million dollars! Everything was absolutely perfect. Helen made me feel at complete ease and that nothing was too much trouble. She made sure that I was completely happy with everything and she takes so much pride in what she does. I just couldn't wait for my wedding day now and to see everything come together. So, on Friday 22nd September 9am Helen arrived with the biggest smile on her face, I couldn't wait to share my morning with her. Helen did the make up for my mum and mother in law as well as my own and I just cannot describe the emotion that ran through me all over again. This time though it was just incredible. Helen worked her magic in the morning and got us all ready by our 12 noon deadline and none of us felt rushed or stressed. Helen made me feel completely relaxed and she truly is a star!I cannot put into words how incredibly honoured I am to have had such an incredible make up artist on my wedding day to do one of the most important things for me. My mum and mother in law felt amazing, they were so happy with their makeup too and it even lasted until the next morning! Helen, thankyou so so much for all of your efforts I would completely recommend you to any bride who is looking for makeup. Helen did my make up for my wedding day. I do not have a lot of confidence in my own skin and I hate being in the spotlight, however Helen gave me that confidence on my wedding day, not just by the fact that she did an awesome job with my make up but also by how she made me feel. She was very professional and very friendly and made me feel relaxed. Helen also did my mother and bridesmaids make up and they looked and felt amazing too!
