I. M. Engineering was established in 1992 and are based in Dalmarnock, Glasgow. Our wide range of specialised equipment and workshop facilities enable us to operate a complete machining and repair service for a variety of industry sectors. We specialise in the manufacture of Hydraulic Rams and Propshafts and carry out reverse engineering techniques as an alternative to purchasing OEM replacement parts.

I. M. Engineering manufacture and carry out repairs to the following components: Hydraulic Rams and Cylinders, Propshafts, Universal Joints and Centre Bearings, Axles and Stub Pins, Mechanical and Hydraulic PTO Boxes. We also manufacture retaining pins and bushes (Steel and Brass). I. M. Engineering also carry out complete mechanical overhauls to any type of machinery and specialise in preventive maintenance programmes, we can also supply a complete lubrication package including Air operated Grease pumps, Oil pumps and Hose reels.

I. M. Engineering carry out work in a variety of industry sectors most notably Mining and the Railway industry, In the past we carried out work for Scottish Coal and ATH Recources before there demise. We still carry out work in this industry for Hargreaves Surface Mining, Kier Mining, Hall Construction and KMG Warrington. We also manufacture and repair parts for Balfour Rail and Serco Rail. Other notable customers include local councils, Scania and Mercedes Main agents. We also look after small plant and the Road Haulage Industry.
