Irox Building Designs provide a bespoke planning and architectural design service throughout the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We can draw on over 30 years of experience and knowledge, having previously worked as a Development Control Planner and a Building Control Inspector and are qualified to Postgraduate level in Town Planning and BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying. Using this experience and knowing in advance what the issues that are involved, Irox Building Design can take your ideas and transform them into a complaint design.

We use state of the art Leica instruments to accurately measure the existing site to millimetre precision. This enables us to produce accurate, information rich drawings and specifications that are easy to read and understand.

The practise uses BIM (Building Information Model) software to produce your plans. Using the measurements taken on site a digital model is built, where, for example a wall knows it is a wall because it has a height, width and other data attached to it. Whereas, most architectural designers use 2D CAD, where a series of lines are arranged to represent a wall or roof for example. This enables us to extract any view, section or elevation and the model can be populated with people, furniture, trees etc to give you a better idea of how the space can be used. Unlike other companies that produce 3d visuals Irox Building Designs provides these at no extra cost.
