We have recently had a pond for our garden designed by Martin and installed by Martin and Matt. It is exactly as was planned and it was a pleasure having these guys around our home whilst building. They are friendly, courteous and considerate. The design looks perfect for the space we had and the quality of care taken by Martin to ensure the finished structure was completed beautifully was second to none. Every detail was thought over and explained. We asked Martin to plant up the beds surrounding the pond and this really completed the project. Could not have done it without his knowledge and we are looking forward to enjoying our established pond next year. Thank you Kent Aquatics for a great job - we are so pleased with our new pond!

We are very pleased with the pond and rockery that Martin has built for us. He had some great ideas for a look that fitted well with our house and garden - using slate capping stones around the edge of the pond, that have been lovely to sit on and watch the fish, as well as a natural stone cladding on the sides of the pond that matches in well with our property. He has recently come back to add plants to the pond and surrounding area, building a really well thought out rockery adjacent to it, in order for the wildlife to access the water more easily. Both before and during the process he listened to and understood what we wanted and came up with some imaginative ideas that we would not have thought of ourselves. We would highly recommend Martin and can't wait to watch the pond mature and encourage wildlife into the garden.

If you look in Testimonials you will see photos of the before and after of our pond and stream development in Istead Rise. We had an idea of what we wanted but it was Martin who managed to design and install it to a standard far beyond our hopes. He managed to design in a fish pond at the bottom of the stream with a wild pond at the top with real care and attention to the sound (music) of the stream as it drops down the garden. He and Matt are friendly and hardworking, and organised all the planting as well, at a sensible price for the whole project - which they stuck to. We now have a beautiful pond and stream which we are very happy to have them maintain. Recommend highly.

I called Martin finding my 20 year pond was leaking and becoming an emergency. Martin made me a date as soon as he could and put my mind at rest. I cannot thank Martin and Matt enough…. Fantastic price…. Superb job…. Liner fitted …. Fish happy…Tidying great …Plants repotted. I couldnt have asked for more. So courteous and kind and all with an outstanding and spectacular job, I only wish I had known about maintenance before but will definitely will be using from now for sure.

I contacted Martin to discuss moving my fairly small pond to another site on my patio. After discussing this with him I knew I wanted Martin to do the job. I now have a beautiful new pond and my fish seem extremely happy in their new environment. Martin and Matt worked for 2 extremely long days carrying out everything I asked for and making lots of suggestions for things I wasn’t sure about. They have a vast knowledge of not only pond construction but pond life, planting, landscaping and even the feeding of my newts! Plenty of helpful instructions given on what to do once they left me with my new pond although I will definitely be setting up a maintenance callback arrangement with Martin. I would highly recommend them even if you only have a small pond like mine. You won’t regret it.

Martin and Matt have been maintaining our pond for many years, we have always been very pleased with the work they have done, and we have enjoyed their company, finding them polite and cheerful. I wonder if l have offended them recently as my calls and messages have not been answered since November 2019. ! I do wish Martin would contact me again as pond seriously in need of their attention. Fantastic job built exactly as I requested. This was the second pond built for our family by Kent Aquatics both fantastic.

I needed a estimate for my pond to be downsized and landscaped to accommodate a waterfall ect. I chose martin to complete the job because he understood my requirements and his price was competitive. I have been more then satisfied with the job. My wife and I have a pond with fish transformed and is a pleasure to look at. Martin was professional and courteous at all times, good time keeping above all listens to what the customer wants and advises and works within the budget accordingly. I have no hesitation to recommend Martin as he has done a superb job.

We have a 800 gallon garden pond and rockery which was built 20 years ago and was showing its age, as well as the pond having a small leak. Martin visited to offer his advice on replacing the liner and upgrading the pond and rockery. He was not pushy, but it was obvious his knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding. The quote was detailed and in our opinion reasonable, although we did not get any other quote. It took him four days to complete the work and he transformed our ordinary pond and rockery into a Chelsea Gold Medal winner. We cannot remember meeting a person who is so passionate about his work and can look at a hole in the ground and a pile of rock and have a vision to transform it into a work of art. The fish settled into their new home and the water is as clear as a bell.

I had a pond put in a couple of years ago when I didn't realise what was involoved. It was all a bit of a disaster and eventually I asked Kent Aquatics to come round on the basis of the quality of their website. It was so clear Martin knew what he was talking about and was hugely enthusiastic and could do the whole thing. He planned it to encourage max wildlife, planted it to look lovely but have natural balance, put in a gentle waterfall and a bog garden area. They worked hard and spent ages getting it just right and it is a work of art. He also told us so much about attracting creatures and looking after it. It's easily the best value money we have spent on our garden.

First time I have used Kent Aquatics and will definitely use them again. I have a young 3000 gallon pond which needed a maintenance service and some planting. The price was very reasonable and broken down so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Final spec was slightly lower than my quote and the saving was passed onto me 100%. The technician also provided me with a filtration system diagram and gave me lots of free advice about how to control algae and blanket weed. The technician arrived when he said he would and was very efficient.

After recommendation from a friend I arranged for a consultation to help choose, set up/design and maintain my new tropical tank. This was all arranged and completed within days. I have had my tank for a year now and have been very happy with the service that Martin/Kent Aquatics has been providing me. Kent Aquatics are very reasonable in price, very reliable, exceptionally friendly and is always on the end of the phone if his advice is needed, and nothing is too much trouble. We inherited a fairly small but horribly neglected pond when we moved into our new house 3 months ago and feared it had been allowed to deteriorate to a state beyond repair. A rather desperate internet search led me to Martin’s website and I was so impressed I immediately called him to see if he could help and I am so glad I did! True to his testimonials the service he provides is absolutely excellent. He clearly loves what he does and is brilliant at it – in one day he has completely transformed our pond beyond our wildest expectations and given us so much advice on how to look after it properly and even develop it further. He is very accommodating with his time and first came to look at the pond one Sunday morning in order to provide a detailed and very reasonable quote and explanation of the work that needed doing with provisional dates for completing it. He is friendly, punctual, organised and reliable and works extremely hard in a totally self-sufficient manner, completing tasks to as near perfect as can be. Martin cleaned our pond and the service he provided was excellent. I have never seen the pond look so good. He provided very helpful advice and he is fairly priced for the work he carrys out. I would recommend his services to anyone and shall be using his services again.

I recently moved house and inherited a small fish pond which was very dirty and had not been maintained. I chose Martin because previous reviews indicated that he is an animal lover - this was important because I am too! When he was emptying the pond and removing the fish and newts he discovered lots of baby fish - their welfare was his primary concern and he spent hours getting them out. He also fixed some leaks, installed a pump and pond lights and provided a variety of plants - I am very pleased with the work. I am new to pond keeping and he has given me lots of useful advice, he is extremely knowledgeable, clearly loves animals and nature and is dedicated to what he does. I highly recommend his services.

Martin is a very qualified, professional, honest, polite and reliable pond expert. He has true love for nature and animals. He really enjoys his job. We have a small pond, and he came to our place on a rainy Saturday to clean it. He arrived smiling. He was punctual, very organised, and very careful with our little fish. The results exceeded our expectations, and he also gave us a lot of advice ragarding the enviromnent of our pond. Very kindly he also gave us two cute newts, to help with the pond's ecosystem. We asked for a wildlife pond to be designed and built knowing very little about them but wanting to attract more wildlife to our garden. Martin said it would attract wildlife to our garden but were amazed at how quickly this happened and the wonderful assortment of wildlife that we now see such as frogs, dragonflies and newts as well as attracting other wildlife such as different types of birds and hedgehogs. We spend hours watching the wildlife and our grandchildren love it and it has completely transformed that area of our garden. We were also overwhelmed at how beautiful the pond and the planting are, giving beautiful points of interest all through the year. The pond and the transformation far exceeded our expectations and Martin does a fantastic job at maintaining it for us to keep it looking its best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I didn't have time to clean and maintain my aquarium on a regular basis so it looked neglected. I contacted Martin at Kent Aquatics who moved it into a better position, re-designed it, introduced more fish and cleans it on a monthly basis. Martin is polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks to his hard work I have now an aquarium that is the centrepiece of the room and is the envy of those who visit.
