My fiancée and I are absolutely delighted we found Kai. He installed a new boiler (combi) for us, removed our ancient boiler, cylinder, tanks and shower pump, and did all sorts of other jobs which have essentially made our plumbing and central heating fit for the 21st century! I got lots of other quotes before finding Kai and he definitely offers great value for money. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work, isn't out to pull a fast one on you, and is clearly honest and a genuinely nice guy. He's also very patient, taking time to explain what he's done and why. A real find and we will call on Kai again if we need any further jobs doing down the line. Very highly recommended!

Highly recommended, good price, conscientious, polite, friendly. My problem was I had a damaged water pipe in the hall after floor sanders had been in 2 days earlier. I thought my brand new floor was going to get ripped apart trying to find the leak, but Kai understood it was new so worked carefully to avoid that. He found the broken pipe really quickly (sanders had put nail through it), replaced the pipe then replaced the floorboard really carefully and cleanly. Very good.

I used KP heating to get a new Worcester Bosch boiler fitted and to remove an old one. Kai's service was professional, he did exactly what he quoted for and within the time he had estimated it would take. He worked neatly, and blocked off gaps caused by removal of the old boiler and cleared all rubbish. I haven't had any problems with the boiler so far and would definitely recommend KP heating.

I don't usually leave reviews of companies, good or bad, but feel happy to do so with Kai. Our 30 year old boiler gave up the ghost recently and having spent several hours trying to get it going again Kai declared it terminal (a search online confirmed that parts were no longer available). Kai gave us quotes for a number of different options and we decided to go with a combi, and moving the boiler from a bedroom into the bathroom. Kai worked really well, was unobtrusive and considerate of our young kids, keeping mess and obstacles to an absolute minimum and tidying up after himself every night. The work was completed to a high standard, and I was particularly pleased with the "tying in" elements of the job, none of which stuck out and we're done very neatly. Kai completed the job in the time agreed, and to budget, removed all rubbish from our house and even completed a couple of extra things that I threw at him as well. I would have no hesitation recommending Kai, and will be keeping him on standby for any future central heating emergencies. A very genuine, hard working and capable worker.

Kai Parker replaced our elderly Vaillant boiler with a new Vaillant boiler. He also fitted a magnaclean filter, a limescale filter and carried out a Powerflush on the entire radiator system. Kai also replaced a glass pane with a upvc panel for the flue exit. Kai was professional, pleasant and very hardworking. He completed the entire job in a day. He also instructed us on how to use the new boiler. I would happily recommend him and he would be my first choice for any additional work within his area of expertise.

I used Kai to fit a new Worcester Bosch boiler, several radiators and other plumbing in a property that was being renovated. He was quick, efficient and professional, as well as being extremely easy-going, personable and liaising well with the builder. He also rang to make sure that I was happy with the work he had done. All of the necessary paperwork swiftly followed. I've already recommended Kai to others and would use him again any time.

KP Heating and Plumbing installed a new Vaillant boiler and did the plumbing for a bathroom. I can only recommend Kai, he is competent, efficient, and friendly, as well as competitively priced. Would use him again.

Kai Parker Plumming. Last September we were lucky enough to have a quote to install a new boiler form Kai. He not only gave the most competitive quote, but the most honest. We'd been advised from other firms that we would need a larger boiler, obviously not true. He could start two weeks after the quote and already on day one worked into the evening to make sure we had hot water. By day two we were nearly all finished, boiler installed, all piping replaced, the system thoroughly flushed through, radiators fitted with thermostats and everything cleared up and much better than it was before. We've not had a moments worry with our new boiler and wonder why we waited so long. As an added bonus, more room now we don't have a huge tank, much better water pressure, lower heating bills and hot water when we need. We were so impressed we got him to plumb in our new bathroom and went with his builder. A very wise choice. Again everything came in on budget, to a high standard, and no worries or hassle. Kai Parker helped to replace and install a new Vaillant combi boiler with thermostat control at a flat in central London. Kai was on time, efficient and professional in carrying out the task, tidy and completed the job on time. His quote was very competitive compared to others obtained. I would highly recommend Kai for any heating and plumbing needs.

I chose Kai Parker to fit my new boiler because he had previously done some work on my 40 year old boiler at a reasonable price. When this boiler finally packed up he removed it from the hall and fitted a new combi boiler in the airing cupboard. The work was carried out to a high standard, the brickwork made good and the site left clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kai.

I would strongly recommend Kai Parker to anybody. We have used him for a number of things over the past year. He has installed and subsequently serviced our boiler, installed an electric shower and done other minor jobs including fixing flushing mechanisms on our toilet. He is everything you could want from a tradesman. Not only does he do the "expected" (ie, be competitive on price, turn up on time, work efficiently and do a solid job) but he differentiates himself in that he listens to what you want/need, offers balanced advice and is happy to spend time explaining what he is doing and why. This instils a real confidence and trust in him which I value highly. I do not have a bad word to say about this guy. Use him!

Well after 30 years of service our cast iron boiler finally gave up in October 2011. The choices available were to stick with the gravity fed system (f&e + cold tank) or get rid of all the cylinder/tanks and install a combi boiler with mains pressure and all that it entails. As our previous system had all been installed within the flat the water pressure was non-existent for showering and very poor at any of the taps. So I decided to rip out the old system and have a combi installed saving vital space in the bathroom with the removal of the cylinder and tanks. With several quotes including British Gas (the highest – no surprise) I went with KP Heating & Plumbing. The quote was as competitive as others but I felt this company could do the work correctly and I was not wrong. Kai turned up on the day we had booked and on time. He had everything with him and got to work straight away. We had the system power flushed, new thermostatic radiator valves and lockshields, two radiators removed and a new one fitted (and no leaks). The boiler fitted was a Vaillant 831 Plus with a Honeywell CM927 wireless programmable thermostat (suggested by Kai and a very good bit of kit) all fitted perfectly with very neat pipework considering the tight space. With the new gas regulations a gas supply pipe of 22mm was needed and lucky for me there was one fitted 30 years ago buried in the adjacent wall, which had been feeding the old boiler but that was only discovered by Kai because he took the time to find out so no new pipe needed from the gas meter. Kai's great virtue is his readiness to listen to the uncertainties of the client, talk them through and find practical solutions. Neat, efficient worker. An altogether happy experience (particularly after our doubts about the whole boiler exchange/re-run of lead mains water main enterprise). Unreservedly recommend. Well done Kai.

We had quotes from several people to install a new boiler and hot water cylinder. Not only was Kai competitive on price but he also listened carefully to what we wanted and was very proactive in suggesting how best to make the installation achieve that. The work involved changing the location of the boiler from the kitchen to the airing cupboard, replacing the cylinder and installing new valves, filter, electrics, controller, thermostat and pump. Kai designed the pipework and equipment layout in the airing cupboard to leave the maximum space for clothes while ensuring that all components could be reached for maintenance. He removed the old boiler and made good including patching in replacement bricks where the old flu had been. He started and finished the work when he said he would and completed the work to a very high standard including clearing up thoroughly. He was very professional and pleasant in every respect. Kai managed all the paper work for the installation and we have received the Building Regulation Compliance Gas Safety Certificate and the registration confirmation letter from the boiler manufacturer.

This is our second call for Kai Parker. This time he replaced our old boiler with a new one and installed it in a new location. He did an excellent job, leaving the work site spotless. He even did a few other things as well free of charge. We will call him again and warmly recommend him for any plumbing work.

Kai Parker was not only an exceptional plumber fitting my new washing machine and dish washer but He also did over and above what was asked of him in helping fit my new kitchen and wooden flooring. He was quiet, well mannered and professional and stayed after the other workers had gone home at no extra charge. He also fitted my rather awkward shower and roll top bath perfectly. 10/10.

Kai Parker did an excellent job of replacing my old boiler with a new one. He added some extra touches without additional charge. He also alerted me to the Boiler Scrappage Scheme which I hadn't known about. He was tidy, polite, punctual and trustworthy.
