I had my third gong bath with Mark on Sunday. I thoroughly recommend the experience. Mark has a calm, gentle manner and the immersive experience is SO relaxing. The deep resonance of the larger gongs provides a sound scape that chimes with your body, calms your mind and sends you off into a virtual or sometimes deep sleep! Try it!
I booked Marks gong bath offering for my mother’s birthday surprise in my parents home in Broxbourne. The gong bath was really incredible and all the participants (my siblings) loved it including my mother who had no idea what the session was going to be. I’ve received a fair few gong and sound baths over the years and I can highly recommend Mark. He’s highly knowledgeable and also really takes you through a deep journey (he has lots of gongs and other instruments he uses) I’ve been in the wellness industry for a long time so my bench mark is high … he exceeded expectation's and he’s a lovely guy too.

Com/p/all-that-resonates) and if you're middle-aged creaky like me, this more dynamic form of yoga will, with perseverance, keep you limber and develop solid core strength.
Mark’s gong bath was so relaxing, the different sounds and vibrations really felt incredible. Mark was thorough and explained at the start how everything was going to go in the session. One hour went by so quickly and I slept like a baby for the next two nights. Couldn’t recommend Mark enough.
Mark is both a knowledgeable and dedicated personal trainer. I appreciate his flexibility in adjusting to my work schedule that can often change at short notice. Perhaps the best praise I can offer is that I am now in my second year training with him and have every intention of continuing my twice weekly sessions. I feel healthier, happier and am certainly stronger as a result of them.
I can’t recommend Mark more highly. I was looking for a personal trainer for a while and met with a few people but what set Mark apart to begin with was the fact that he had been in my position (having a busy job and not prioritising health and fitness) and had managed to completely turn his life around. I found it quite inspiring. I didn’t want a 20 year old Personal Trainer who had never experienced being overweight or struggling and was always in the gym as that is not something I could relate to and I didn’t feel they would be able to relate to me or get the best from me. Since working with Mark, I have found him to be hugely knowledgeable, kind and patient. He knows when to push me to get the most of my workout and when not to. My workouts are designed around me and he always takes time to explain what we are doing and why. I have never really used the gym before so had never lifted weights before starting training with him and I couldn’t even do a squat or a lunge. I am now managing to lift quite heavy weights and am getting more confident at the basic exercises he has taught me. He gives me useful feedback to help me improve my form. He is understanding and respectful and he is happy to go at my pace. He is very encouraging and supportive but I always feel I am moving forwards towards the goal I have set myself. Mark has given me advice about nutrition and clearly spends a lot of time learning and living the lifestyle he recommends. I am a working mum and I can’t always give my fitness 100% of my focus during the week but I never feel judged and I feel that he is helping me to change my life long term. With over 6 years training with Mark I can highly recommend him. Marks wealth of knowledge and experience of training/ technique and posture/ nutrition/ training with injuries, will get and keep you fit and strong. Ever Professional, always friendly and welcoming Mark will encourage and push you to get the best from ‘YOU’ as an individual, regardless of age or ability.
Brilliant personal trainer and a great fitness instructor for group exercise classes. Mark plans out sessions according to both your personal fitness and progression needs as well as the entire groups fitness and progression needs. I always feel good after a workout session with Mark, having been both physically and mentally challenged during the session. After just a few weeks of training you see results, making you feel better about yourself and wanting to get fitter. Couldn't recommend highly enough and I definitely get my money's worth.
During the lockdown in March this year, Mark had been running online exercise classes so that myself and other participants could all train during quarantine. The classes use only what you have in the house, with the majority focusing on using your body weight and a mat. I started joining these classes once and then twice a week to try and get fitter and lose weight during those months, and I've been going to them ever since. I really enjoy these classes, and I've noticed a massive improvement with my overall size, shape and weight. I feel so much stronger than I used to be, and I am a lot healthier than I have been in years. Mark's classes vary each session, and he can tailor them with your specific health and fitness requirements - they are challenging and extremely rewarding! I've had a fantastic experience with these classes and they are well worth the time to join, I hope to continue these classes in the New Year!
Mark's a fantastic trainer. I started working with him in September after lockdown started having negative effects on my health and fitness and in three months he's managed to help not only reverse those effects but get me into probably the best shape of my life. He knows his stuff, will push you without ever going too far, and blends consistency with a range of workouts that keep things interesting. His dietary advice and body measurement and evaluation are great tools for supporting exercise and measuring progress. In short, do what Mark says and you'll get results!
Mark has been a fantastic personal trainer, always keeping the sessions interesting and challenging me in areas where I would have felt out of my depth at a gym. I am stronger now and feel confident in techniques. Would highly recommend!
Mark achieves exactly what he says on his website. With his knowledge and motivation, I lost weight, got fitter and stronger too. I had no idea all of these could happen in such a short space of time. He is very holistic and discusses diet and exercise together continuously, which was really helpful for me. The support is there and I achieved way more than I expected with Mark. I was really pleased to have found a new me. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health and fitness.
I have been attending exercise classes with Mark for two years, along with personal training with him. Mark comes highly recommended for both the classes and PT. I have done quite a few classes / gym memberships etc in the past, but Mark's classes have been the one thing that I have kept up for more than a few months. The variety and friendly nature of everyone in the classes make me really look forward to attending. I have seen a huge amount of physical improvement since starting, in particular with my flexibility and mobility, which after years of sitting at a desk needed some attention!
I have been training with Mark for over 3 years. Mark’s classes suit all levels of fitness. Whether you are looking to get back in shape or to take your fitness level up a notch, Mark provides the training, support and challenge required to help you meet your goals. You won’t find a fancy or intimidating gym—just a good group of people who are all there to keep fit and an excellent trainer. Go on. Give it a try!
I have attended Mark’s classes for several years, and have never been disappointed. Whilst this is a group exercise class, there is always enough attention to the individual to ensure that everyone receives support on technique when needed, and encouragement if slacking! There are always a variety of exercises; body weight and with equipment, and I always get an excellent all-over body work out. Even more importantly, Mark has created a great team spirit with all the people who attend. It is a warm and welcoming environment to all regular and new participants, and we always have fun. I cannot praise it or recommend the classes and Mark enough.
I have known Mark since 2012 and have been regularly going to his training sessions. His circuits are motivating, fun and can be as hard as you want it to be. He is personable and a friendly guy. Half way through his classes you may think I can't finish the hour but then again you are looking forward to the next one as you leave. Mondays are my favourite days. I go through the day at work thinking can't wait to have a work out. It's certainly addictive. Highly recommend Mark.
I’ve been going to Mark’s classes for a long time now and I really enjoy them and always look forward to attending. Mark’s a friendly guy and knowledgeable about his subject. His classes attract a wide range of people with different levels of fitness, but Mark always manages to create circuits that everyone can benefit from. It’s a friendly crowd and there’s always a great atmosphere. Highly recommended! AL1 5DL.
Naturally lacking in fitness, core strength and coordination, I have long considered myself a lost cause when it comes to exercise! However, just over 3 years ago I was persuaded to try Mark’s Monday evening class and have been a regular ever since. Mark is a miracle worker! I have never had the motivation, stamina or interest in keeping up any exercise regime before. The group works at a suitable level for each individual, so I’m not holding others back, but I’m encouraged to do the best I can by not just Mark but also his friendly client base. I’m definitely fitter now than I have ever been….
