Midlands Urology is a private service founded in 2007 by consultant urological surgeon, Peter Cooke, MD FRCS (Urology).

Working with Clinical Oncologists, we are able to both diagnose and treat a wide range of Urological conditions for patients across the Midlands.

At Midlands Urology, we specialise in Robotic Surgery (known as Robotic Prostatectomy or da Vinci surgery), which as been shown to be the most effective and least invasive surgical treatment available today.

Peter Cooke switched to using robotic surgery in 2011 and in 2010/11 he led the introduction of robotic surgery at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust.

We diagnose and treat a range of urological conditions from Overactive Bladders and Enlarged Prostate to Bladder Cancer and Prostate Cancer.

We work with specialist physiotherapists, urology nurses and theatre teams to offer the very best advice, counselling, rehabilitation and support available.
