The Company has nearly 20 years experience of family history research and provides research for clients throughout England, Wales and Scotland but carries out localised research in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and London, being within easy reach of all London repositories. The service is run by Lisa Dunbar. Lisa Dunbar is a qualified and accredited genealogist having been awarded the Higher Certificate in Genealogy with the IHGS. Lisa then graduated from the IHGS with the Diploma in Genealogy. Lisa is a full member of AGRA( The Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives and as such has been assessed on the quality of her work as well as her business practice. Past Discoveries can offer all aspects of research including look-ups, help with your personal research, family trees and also full multi-generational family histories covering all aspects of your family history. Past Discoveries offer different Family History Packages. Past Discoveries offer Bespoke Research which will be charged by the hour whereby you specify the research required.

Past Discoveries offer different packages denoted by the different British eras and they are Modern, Edwardian, Victorian, Regency, Georgian and Tudor. All packages include copies of all certificates and census returns available, along with your family tree, sources and searches covered. Your final family history is presented in a professional manner. Some of the packages available can be presented in the style of a hard-backed book that is a perfect family gift and keepsake.
