We make handmade soap in the beautiful Peak District in Derbyshire, using local ingredients and inspiration from landmarks and ancient traditions. Some of our varieties include Chatsworth, Well Dressings and Derbyshire Berry, and use ingredients such as honey, oats, bran and many herbs.

Our soap is made using the cold-process method by blending organic, high quality vegetable oils, essential oils and botanical ingredients. We believe this is the best way of making soap, as it creates a long-lasting bar with maximum creaminess and with extra moisturising capabilities.

Peak Soap was founded on holistic principles and we passionately believe that we can offer effective products which are lovely to use but with minimum impact on the environment. We can also help to provide natural solutions to every day skin issues, such as dry or oily skin types.

We don’t use harmful chemicals such as parabens, palm oil and sulphates, ensuring that the products we make are organic, vegetarian, antibacterial, cruelty-free and ethical. We use recycled packaging for environmental reasons but it gives our brand a traditional and stylish feel.

As well as making soap and shampoo bars, our range extends to luxurious-feeling moisturising hand-wash, hair wax, body wash, a natural deodorant which is aluminium free but is really effective; various balms for face, hands and nails with soothing and protective properties for dry and chapped skin. ?We pride ourselves on our personal touch and will happily create gift boxes with wrapping paper and a card if required, bespoke labels for wedding favours or holiday cottages; and make hand deliveries to our local customers. Our website is quick and easy to use, but we are also always happy to chat and offer advice too.
