Phenomenal Colonics

I had a coffee colonic today with Marijke and can not recommend her more highly. Professional and informative Marijke is experienced and the colonics was painless and effective. Definitely a go to therapist.

I was referred to Marijke last spring by my naturopath, who advised a course of colonic hydrotherapy treatments alongside the herbal preparations, dietary and life-style changes prescribed. Though I was hesitant and more than a little nervous at the beginning of my first session, Marijke’s warmth and gentle, reassuring approach eased me out of any awkwardness or embarrassment; she took great care to answer all my questions and concerns and talked me through every stage of the treatment, remaining by my side throughout the session. I’ve had five bi-monthly sessions to date and have found in Marijke a skilled and ethical practitioner, sensitive to her clients’ needs and committed to their well-being. Marijke works from a holistic perspective and each session - though essentially the same procedure/treatment - is unique; there are no ‘series of x sessions’ recommended or a treatment frequency recommendation - in fact quite the reverse. Marijke has helped to me become more aware of my body’s cleansing and healing mechanisms and encouraged me to pace treatment according to its needs; her thoughtful advice and considerable knowledge has also supported my quest to become more educated about - and to better understand - the miracle that is my own body. I have experienced not only a shift in my physical health (weight-loss, more energy) but also in my emotional well-being too - something that I didn’t necessarily anticipate. I’ve noticed that many things - thoughts, feelings, old behaviour patterns and habits - that used to bother me have faded or disappeared all together; I am more grounded, more awake and more emotionally free than I can remember and feel that with the cleansing and elimination of old, unassimilated and toxic material from my system, all the unhealthy emotional debris is also being discarded. Finding a good practitioner is not always easy and I have been incredibly fortunate to have been referred to an exceptional one; Marijke has synthesised her vast knowledge and experience as a writer/researcher, teacher, herbalist, naturopath and iridologist to create unique treatments that enhance and better support the body’s own healing processes. My colonic with Marijke was wonderful, compared to my first experience with another practitioner which I thought was a waste. Marijke spoke with me during the entire colonic about my diet and went into great detail about what I should be cutting out and adding in on my diet. She spoke to me about specific supplements and herbs that would help me feel a lot more energized and help clear up my inflammed rash. Marijke’s abundance of knowledge and care as a practioner certainly helped me feel very comfortable during my treatments I had with her. After my colonics I had contacted Marijke on various occassions by email regarding help with my nutrition and help on other health issues. My rash completely disappeared after my natural treatments with Maryke Vogel. I can only say one thing and that is Marijke’s passion and knowledge of her work is outstanding and she has helped me massively with my health issues. For this I’m so grateful.
