Extremely Poor Service and Damaged Goods – Avoid Royale Stones! I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Royale Stones. The tiles I ordered were delivered damaged, and to make matters worse, I was not given any opportunity to inspect or reject the order upon delivery, which immediately raised concerns. When I contacted aftersales to resolve the issue, their service was utterly frustrating. They made it incredibly difficult to arrange a return, and shockingly, they even had the audacity to try and charge me a restocking fee for damaged goods. This is simply unacceptable. What’s more, this conduct breaches UK consumer rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to goods that are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, which these clearly were not. I also have the right to reject the goods if they arrive damaged, without being subject to any form of penalty or "restocking fee." The fact that Royale Stones attempted to impose this charge reflects a total disregard for customer care and the law. Overall, this has been a terrible experience from start to finish. The after-sales service was unsatisfactory. I ordered three pallets of porcelain paving slabs and received one pallet that was a completely different shade, texture, and size. The company responded by stating that porcelain is a natural stone and that the shade and other aspects will always differ. However, porcelain is not a natural stone, and the company should be more knowledgeable about the products they are selling. Unless you don't mind getting every single pallet different, avoid it ! They offered me only 5 pounds for a high-quality picture with a finished project. What a joke!
