SDL were recommended to us by our builder and I'm so pleased he put us in touch. Our property was undergoing a full renovation which meant SDL had the unenviable task of working to the building timelines and around other tradesmen, materials, deliveries etc. The design aspect was complex; changing a sloping driveway into a decking platform for dining and a hottub, artificial grass for a play area and raised beds to soften the overall scheme. Stu and George worked really hard (with all the weather a sea facing property in Cornwall endures! ) to transform the area, and the outside space is actually our favourite and most impactful part of the property renovation, completely enhancing the experience for those who stay. In terms of their skill set, they worked on landscaping, fencing, decking platforms, decking, artificial grass prep and laying, planting schemes, and the driveways, so very much everything we could throw at them! Thanks again for a great job!

We had a few quotes to refresh our back garden. We used SDL Landscapes as from the start we felt involved in the whole process. Stu listened to what we wanted, worked hard to source the right materials but was also happy to use materials we sourced and suggested. He had some great ideas and has transformed our back garden. Stu and George work to a very high standard while keeping to budget. We were kept up to date with progress and on the delivery of materials. Work carried out included fencing, stone paving, strengthening the decking frame and installing composite decking decking. They also put in an area of top-soil and turf. We cannot thank Stu and George enough for the hard work they put into transforming our garden. Even when we had to change out minds about the fencing, Stu was accommodating. Stu’s knowledge and eye for design is wonderful; he took into account what our need was for the garden and stuck to budget without going too much over. We had a couple of delays through no fault of Stu’s but it was worth the wait. Both Stu and George were always polite and cleaned up at the end of the day. Stu has a real passion for his work and we would recommend to our friends and family.

From our first discussion with Stuart, it was obvious he fully understood what we wanted to achieve in laying wheelchair friendly paths around our church. He and George have created a permeable gravel path in keeping with the church building, such an improvement. We are delighted.

I have enjoyed the services of SDL Landscapes for over a year now and have been very impressed by both the quality and value for money they provide both in routine garden maintenance and in landscaping. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services. Stuart is extremely conscientious in everything he does and nothing is too much trouble.

We had a small garden and needed advice and suggestions for laying out a patio, planting and landscaping. Stuart came and talked us through ideas and suggestions and at no time did we feel pressured into making a decision. He provided innovative solutions and undertook the work on time and to budget. Stuart and his team work really hard to complete the Job within the time scale. They worked twelve hour days to ensure targets were met. The garden area they worked on was completed to the high standard. What please me was the little touches they add even though they were not included in the quote at not extra cost. At the end of the job they made sure every where was clean and tidy. We are more the please with the work done and certainly recommend Stuart's company to anyone.

Stuart has been loving my coastal garden for the past couple of years very successfully. Nothing is too much trouble and he is very flexible in his approach. However, he also has his own ideas which is very refreshing. I would recommend him totally for being trustworthy, conscientious and caring about my property. He is a delightful man and an honest worker who works dligently to make my property look at its' best, whatever the season.

Stuart is quite an artist. The only reason why I gave 4* for service, is because he had to squeeze me in and as a result it took longer than I was hoping. He was a joy to have around and everyone who saw my garden afterwards were very complimentary. I personally am delighted and will use him for future projects.

We have used SLD Landscapes at Trenance Learning Academy for several years now. We have always found the company to be reliable, hard working and consistently producing work of a high standard. During this time SDL have maintained our site as well as offering innovative design solutions to improving our school.

SDL landscapes cut back an overhanging tree, cut back an out of control hedge and dealt with a large amount of foliage that had run amok. They did a really good job, doing exactly as required and cleared up everything when they had finished and took it all away. I have booked them to do another job.

We asked SDL Landscapes to relay parts of our existing patio, build some concrete steps and put granite sets at the end of the drive to prevent the stone chippings going onto the pavement (his recommendation). Stuart worked really hard to complete our patio and driveway in the time available. He produced high quality work on the steps which were rendered to finish. He also gave us good ideas for our garden for the future. Would definitely recommend.

Stuart did a fantastic job, it was a blank canvas and he created a wonderful garden. Would recomend to anybody.
