Elizabeth recently fulfilled my half-sister's lifelong wish to find where her birth mother is buried after she died 10 weeks after giving birth to her 82 years ago. She now lives in Canada so will be visiting England next year to see her mum's resting place. It took Elizabeth no time at all, so I asked her to pursue further and she came up with relatives and family details that, up to now, she has been totally unaware of. Needless to say, she is overwhelmed but extremely happy now and we will be eternally grateful to Elizabeth for that…. Thank you Elizabeth.

Elizabeth. I found your blog today after searching for years to find any info on my husband’s grandmother, Charlotte. Was searching for Frederick Thurman 1890, and again for an Irish birth certificate, and a few entries down, there it was. Don’t think I emailed to ask for help, but glad someone did. (Found it was my first cousin) You answered so many questions and also. Let me know I was on the right track. Having nothing about Charlotte on Ash/Ramsey family tree was. Really bugging me. I have received an excellent service from Search Your Past and Ms Peters. Ms Peters has searched very early parish records, and workhouse records throughout Kent. Ms Peters has offered constructive comments on the findings and advised on the way forward. I am continuing to use this service and have much more research to undertake. It is great value for money as I would never have achieved so much as I would have to travel so far and I would have to have made many journeys and overnight stays. I have a very rare name of Russian origin and despite the best efforts by myself and other members of our family nobody was able to trace our history back before 1900. However I handed the problem over to Search Your Past and they were able to locate our whole family tree not only in this country but in other parts of the world and was able to identify members of the family that we did not know existed or had existed.
