Select Products (Yorkshire) Limited

After searching around for a company to put new windows in my house I found Select Products on the internet. As I was new to home improvements I was a bit nervous, I´d heard all the horror stories about dodgy companies. But I took the plunge and BOY am I glad I did. Select Products were fantastic, they were really helpful and explained everything to me. I had my windows done and I am OVER THE MOON with the result. What a fantastic job. I was in the market for new french doors and a patio laying, therefore I decided to get the usual three quotes. This was my first dealing with double glazing/drive companies and the horror stories I heard were not exaggerated! Sales reps camping out on my sofa, dropping prices when I said no to signing on the night! One company that offers bogof deals even phoned me back a couple of days later offering to knock off a further £1K! A friend of mine recommended Select Products and a young lady called Suzanne came round. She listened to what I had to say, informed me of what was realistic and then came up with some nice designs, even quoted me for both the doors and patio! Just when I was getting ready for the barrage of 'If you sign now I'll do it for £XXX' she politely said that she'll get back to the showroom work out the price and send me the quote via email AND in the post! Well you could have knocked me down with a feather. True to her word I received the quotes and whilst they weren't the cheapest they sure weren't the most expensive.Long story short we decided to go ahead with Suzanne and a few weeks later Mick and Steve, the fitters turned up to do the french doors. Shortly after another team turned up to do the patio; sorry lads can't remember your names.Not only are the french doors and patio worth what I spent on them but the fitters where polite, professional and knew what they were doing.All in all I would recommend Select Products and I have recently found out they are now installing solar panels; another project I hope to complete with Select in the near future.Moreexpand_more

Select Products, fit a conservatory for me. I had been given 4 quotes from local suppliers and Select came in with the best price for the standard that i needed. All the staff turned up in uniform which gave me more piece of mind and the job was completed in less time than they estimated. All i can say is that this is proberbly the best double glazing company in the area. Thank you.

We recently decided that instead of moving that we would do up our home. We wanted to add value but also make it a comfortable home for my wife and I and our new born. After looking around for reputable double glazing/conservatories specialists in the area (Leeds/Harrogate) we came across Select Products who were a breath of fresh air. They had loads of styles of windows available, were really helpful and flexible. We ended up going for what are called "Timber Foil Finish Windows" which are like PVCu windows with a wood grain type finish. Next year, my wife and I are thinking about getting a conservatory for the little one to play in and we plan to go back to Select as we were that very impressed with how quick things were done and to a very high standard too. I purchased one front and one back door for my through terraced property in Leeds back in April 2006 from Justin at Select Products. I chose Select Products as the company to go for after getting three separate quotations from elsewhere and I certainly made the right decision. I found that the prices were fair for the high level of quality I received but what has delighted me more than anything is the after sales service, it is truly sensational! Only very recently, and after I had had the doors for nearly 3 years I found a problem with my door mechanism. After initially panicking, I decided to give Select Products a call to see if they would be willing to come back out and take a look at it. Within 10 minutes of my call, two really helpful guys appeared and not only replaced my entire mechanism free of charge, they gave the other (not affected) door a servicing as well. All this took less than an hour. In today's current economic climate and with so many companies looking to find any way to make the guarantees they issue at point of sale void, it is refreshing to have a company like Select Products offer such a fantastic all round service!
