About Simple Rebalance


My philosophy centres around the fact that connecting the mind and body leads to a more joyful and healthier life. At Simple Rebalance the focus is on just that, rebalancing the body and mind in a simplistic way. This is done by delivering positive feelings and rejuvenation, through massage and therapeutic techniques.

Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is a combination of talking therapy and acupressure point stimulation. Also referred to as tapping, and less commonly as the new energy psychology technique. EFT is a form of therapy used to help provide treatment to those suffering from emotional difficulties. It’s also effective at helping people with conditions that cause physical pain. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), there are certain areas of the body, called meridian points, through which energy flows. An imbalance of these energy lines is thought to be the cause of pain, discomfort and emotional trauma, and EFT helps to rebalance them. Fingertip tapping of specific meridians, or acupressure points, stimulates these energy lines. The meridian points used in EFT are the same as those used in acupuncture, just with a gentle tapping pressure applied with your own fingertips, whilst repeating certain affirmations, instead of the use of needles. EFT is closely related to Shiatsu as they both work on the same principle of resolving physical and emotional problems through rebalancing energy lines.

I offer EFT sessions to anyone around the world via telephone or online video calling. Once we’ve spoken about the physical and/or emotional trauma you’re experiencing, we’ll talk through your difficulty whilst simultaneously tapping certain meridian points. We’ll follow a set pattern of tapping the major meridians on each side of the body. Stimulating meridian points on the face and upper body by repeated tapping send signals to the area of the brain called the amygdala that manages stress levels, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.
