Established in 2010, Specialist Floors North East provides safety flooring and vinyl flooring to clients throughout the local area. The company operates within a 25 mile radius of Newcastle Upon Tyne and provides flooring solutions for businesses who need to deal with stringent Health and Safety issues eg. Doctors, Dentists and Vets surgery floors, shop floors, kitchen floors and washable wall clad in fast food outlets. It also supplies and fits shop entrance barrier matting. In addition domestic customers are catered for in the luxury vinyl tile market where Karndean, Amtico and Amtico Spacia are supplied and fitted. Although a newly formed company, it's fitters and management experience is considerable.

The company is owned and run by Arnie Smith who is a graduate Quantity Surveyor with many years of experience in the flooring industry having in fact been part of the team that laid the floors at the new RVI Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne built by Laing O Rourke and the 5 star Rockliffe Hall Hotel at Darlington built by Shepherd Construction.
