From start to finish thoroughly professional and very helpful. We have had a 6. 2kW system installed on our roof. Good communication at all stages as they worked up alternative schemes for consideration. The technical information was clear, and the price competitive. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently by some very pleasant and helpful staff. I would thoroughly recommend them.

You never really know how good a company is until something goes wrong! Just over four years ago I purchased a 4 kW solar system from Sunlight Future. The whole buying experience I have to say was excellent, they were professional in their presentation, professional with regard to installation, fair pricing and very courteous. I had no complaints. I discovered recently that I had a problem with one of my solar panels, which was well below its normal efficiency. Looking at my paperwork from Sunlight Future I can see that I have a guarantee for the panel. I phoned up and spoke to a gentleman called Ollie who explained to me that the manufacture of that solar panel has gone bust. He said he would have a look around to see if anybody had a panel the same and if not come back to me with a solution for the issue I had. A week and half goes by, nothing! No call from Ollie, so I phone up and asked to speak to Ollie and left a message with another gentleman. Another week goes by, nothing! No call from Ollie. So I send a lengthy email reiterating my concerns. A week and a half goes by, nothing! No call from anybody. So I pick up the phone and ring again, and get to speak to another gentleman who knew about my problems and did see the email, but could only apologise for not getting back to me because they have been busy. I had a lengthy chat with this gentleman who explained my options of which there were three but couldn’t really advise which was the best to take. Also the full cost would be down to me which could be reduced if they tacked it onto another job when they were in my area. He was very indecisive as to what the best action was to take and to the cost. So we left it that he would do some further investigation and we would speak the following Monday to make a decision of what to do. Monday came, nothing! No call. So after a couple of days I rang and spoke to Ollie, he said I knows the other gentleman is dealing with it, he is on the phone and I will get him to call you back. A week and a half later, nothing! No call. I even said to this gentleman, the worst thing you can do to me is ignore me or not phone back, and so it seems that this company are extremely proficient at ignoring you or not phoning back when there is an issue. I am a realist, and understand it is not a perfect world and know it is not Sunlight Future’s fault that the maker of the solar panel has gone bust. I can take bad news but not rudeness or the arrogance of ignoring me. When you have specialist equipment installed in your home the only place you can go to when something goes wrong are the experts, i.E. The company that installed it. I don’t think it is too much to expect help. Or if they cannot help, have the decency to say so. So my experience of Sunlight Future was good at first but I can honestly say I would not recommend them to anybody now, as they clearly do not want to know you when something goes wrong. I am sure there are many more reputable companies out there, who understand that looking after customers is how you get more business and recommendations. Even if it may be inconvenient or cost them a little. I have subsequently found that the company that went bust still exists, (Sun Edison) albeit in a tiny format compared to its former self. But I cannot find out whether there are any warranty honouring from the remaining company. This is the kind of information I hoped sunlight future would have come back to me with. .Moreexpand_more

I really liked the fact that each individual who dealt with me had real expert knowledge and understanding of the solar systems. From beginning to end, I liked this company and the people who work in it. I was provided with comprehensive information to enable me to make a well-informed decision and at no point was I put under any pressure. The system they have installed for me is really high quality, looks great, and uses cutting edge technology. As a result it is now performing in an impressive and clever way, with the solar panels working with the Tesla Powerwall to reduce my reliance on grid electricity as much as possible (almost totally so far). I also love the associated apps for my phone that let me monitor the performance of the system very easily. I am very glad I made this choice.

Good value for money when compared with friends who had Solar Panels fitted a few years ago. Even though the Feed in Tarif has been reduced. Very efficient work and explained properly to what is what. Work done on time and quickly. Top quality PV panels, even generate in the rain.

This company really do know their business. From the first contact to the commissioning they gave regular updates and advice, nothing appears to be too much trouble. Extremely efficient and professional team from the outset. I needed to do hardly anything right from the quote stage to complete installation. They completed all my paperwork, signed me up to correct tariffs, so all I needed was to sign the forms. Everything was completed on time and as to spec. Their pricing out of 3 quotes was middle of the road, probably about £100 - £200 (not much in the grand scheme) more expensive, yet I have much more comprehensive monitoring of the systems when compared to friends system that did not use these guys. Additionally I felt much more assured by Sunlight's competence and willing to go the extra mile. Would more than happily recommend these to family let alone some stranger on the web!

After having various quotes and visits from salesmen about having solar panels fitted I discovered Sunlight Future online, the service that I got was clear and easy to understand all done online and by phone, the team were always helpful and curtious. The system was fitted in December 2014 by a team that was helpful and efficient fitting the the whole system in one day. Initial visit excellent - professional, clear and no hard sell. Came up with a good, efficient design for solar panels on house and garage. Organised installation at short notice to enable us to obtain a good tariff. Installers themselves were friendly, hard-working and polite. After installation we received a follow up visit to ensure that we understood the system and how to make it work for us - all very helpful. Contacted Sunlight Future after receiving very high cost quote from another company. Within days received quotes for three different systems, stating the difference between each one, including initial outlay verses expected payback time. Choose which system suited us best and was installed within 2 weeks. Very fast reliable efficient company. Highly recommend.

I had received a couple of 'cold calls' concerning PV panels from other companies and also had a couple of quotes which weren't too great. I found and contacted Sunlight Future online and was pleasantly surprised that all of the survey work could be achieved using the Google map image of the house. They then provided three quotes for a range of products, costs and optional extras. Again, this was far better than other companies I could mention. Whole process was very quick and well executed. Some initial teething problems with the Owl monitoring system but this was satisfactorily overcome. Overall a good installation and a very nice company to work with. No hard sell at any time. I would highly recommend the Immersion Heater controller option to anyone fitting PV cells and has a hot water tank (with electric immersion heater). Free hot water most of the year, you will just need to top it up during the winter months. The Owl monitoring unit provides up to the minute system performance information if you are into that sort of thing!Highly recommended - especially as energy prices can only really go up and the cost of borrowing (return on cash investments) is so low.Moreexpand_more

We have had a 4kW system installed complete with a free monitoring system. The installation was completed within a day and was professionally carried out. The monitoring system is an additional benefit as it allows us to make the most of the free available energy when using our appliances. Thoroughly recommended.

The design and installation of my solar PV system was executed with professionalism and with minimal disruption by Sunlight Future, taking only one day to fit and commission. The addition of free energy monitoring equipment has added to the overall value for money. The records of the energy produced to date is showing that the estimates provided by Sunlight Future were on the conservative side, with the expectation now of bettering the predicted pay back period by some margin. I have no hesitation in recommending Sunlight Future for installation of similar domestic Solar PV systems in the Bristol area.

Sunlight Future Ltd are exceptionally professional - all praise to Ollie and his team headed up by Brian. 16 panels fitted and an EV charger all of which are working fine. My wife was just out of hospital during installation - but it was done with minimal disruption and noise. Just one hick-up, Crown Scaffolders were very slow removing the scaffolding at just the hottest time and we couldn't open windows - otherwise a faultless installation.

We had our system installed in January and in April are still very happy with their work. After having dealt with a salesman from another company and having had a ridiculously high quote, it was a pleasure to have a visit from Ben who knows how to instal solar systems. He was able to answer our many questions regarding types of equipment and installation. The team installed what we requested and in the locations and the way that we wanted. We've been pleased with the hot water we've obtained from the immersun product they installed.
