The shop, which is based in Ashbourne, originally started out in 2002 and owner, Pauline Johnson of Cubley Bears, has 20 years experience in the Teddy Bear Restoration profession.

The shop is owned by Pauline Johnson who has been involved in the Teddy Bear Restoration business for many years. Pauline has also been creating limited edition teddy bears known as Cubley Bears since 1990. Pauline has repaired many teddy bears over the years, from childrens toys to valuable collectables and The Bear Patch shop and teddy hospital is well known to Teddy Bear Collectors around the country.

The shop offers a comprehensive range of limited edition bears and soft toys, including Steiff, Charlie Bears, Deans, Merrythought, Gund and Russ. There are bears suitable for all ages from babies to the young at heart and cover a wide price range. The products are available from the shop in Ashbourne and from the website. Teddy bears in need of repair can be brought into the shop by their owners or sent by post. Pauline can also offer advice on the phone and offers free quotations.
