After many months admiring The Dust Dolly's logo on the noticeboard of a local shop, we finally gave Kelly a call. That was four years ago and we haven't looked back! We were one of her first clients and she made us feel really special, coming round for an initial chat, to get to know us and understand our needs. She understood that we wouldn't always be home to let her in, but that its worrying handing over your keys to a stranger, so this personal touch really helped to build initial trust. These days Kelly is practically part of the furniture! (Or should that be, the family! ) She is always so friendly and we look forward to her visits. She's like a breath of fresh air! She is a good communicator and is always realistic about how much she can get done. If she can't do something one week, she'll always do it the next week and if we need a deeper clean she'll find a way to squeeze us in to her already busy schedule!The clean itself is always great and it really does boost your quality of life to come back to a sparkling home. I'm a convert to The Dust Dolly motto: 'Tidy house, tidy mind!' Kelly spends the most time on our kitchen and likes to leave it gleaming. She continues to battle un-complaining with our carpets, despite our dog's hair making hoovering a challenge! Cushions are always expertly plumped, she'll change the bedsheets if we ask her to and she always goes above and beyond the call of duty. The other day, a shelf collapsed while she was here and she jumped into action with superglue and put it back together!This is The Dust Dolly ethos all over! Expertly run with Kelly at the helm, The Dust Dolly always goes above and beyond the call of duty: from popping in on elderly clients between cleans to help them with something or ensure they're not lonely, to collecting up our milk bottle caps to recycle and raise funds for the local hospice. These ladies have been cleaning for us for the last 4 months and they have greatly relieved some of the stress we are going through at the moment with their high standard of cleaning. Their visit coincides with my visits to hospital and when we return home after several hours it's to a lovely sight. Family and friends have commented on the standard of the work and we cannot praise them enough.
We first experienced the Dust Dolly in the spring of 2015 when we finished a significant amount of building work and just couldn't get rid of the dust. Gemma wasn't deterred! She worked tirelessly for 3 solid hours and made our whole home sparkle. When Kelly called a few months later to let us know that a regular cleaning spot had become available we jumped at the opportunity and haven't looked back. Each week the Dust Dolly's clean our home from top to bottom; all traces of paw prints and pet hair are removed, and the bathrooms simply sparkle. On the occasions when we need something different doing - bedding changing because we have family staying, laundry tidying away because we were running late that morning - Kelly and her team are on it without question, and will often spot (and sort) something that needs cleaning before we've even thought about it.
Dust Dolly is simply the best cleaning company that you will ever find. We spent ages going through different companies trying to find a service that paid attention to detail; one that really cared about doing a good job and always went that extra mile to make things look really super. Before the service started, Kelly, the owner, came to see us and went through all the details, gave us advice about what needed to be done and how often, and listened to what we wanted. It left us feeling confident that we would not have to worry. And it proved to be so. It was just the best feeling coming back home on a Tuesday evening to a lovey clean home with everything in its place. It was like going into a first class hotel room. Sadly we are moving away from the area so will no longer be able to use them. I tried to persuade them to travel, but its just that bit too far. Wonderful service, wonderful people. I rang Dust Dolly for a one off end of tenancy clean of my property. The Dust Dolly came out promptly to quote a price and was able to fit me in that commencing week. Excellent service. The quality of work was impeccable and I would recommend to others and also if I ever required a cleaner again I would definately use Dust Dolly.
The Dust Dolly do a fortnightly clean of our entire house and I cannot rate them highly enough! Kelly is absolutely lovely, introducing our regular cleaner to us before she began and made note of everything that we'd like cleaned. It's lovely opening the door to a house that looks like a hotel! The bathroom is sparkling, there's no dust anywhere, kitchen cupboards are all shiny, the floors are all mopped and everything is tidied away and lined up neatly, I love it! Kelly even went out of her way to drop off a replacement shower squeegee when L took ours home by mistake! Lovely to not have the stress of cleaning a house at the weekend anymore, thanks Kelly!
Fab company, organised a last minute end of tenancy clean for me, no hassle, no problem and the work was carried out to a very high standard. I was also given a hugely discounted price on the extra half hour they needed to finish (my fault not theirs) which made my day. I highly recommend Dust Dolly and would now never use anyone else. Fortnightly clean of living areas, bathroom, bedrooms and downstairs toilet. Result, sparkling bathroom, clean carpets, no dust, and no longer plagued by cobwebs. For someone who spends all week working away from home it is a true delight to come home on Friday and not have to face basic housework over the weekend. I am never there when F comes to clean but family who have been at home describe her as incredibly efficient, lovely personality, hard working, thorough. Kelly, impressed me with the way she set up the service, interviewed us, recorded completely the work that was required (and what not), found a suitable person, brought her round for introductions and a kind of 'interview' by us. And the contract even had notes on it that we have a cat so ensure he doesn't get locked in when the cleaner leaves! (Some challenge given his determination to hide when it is 'going out' time. ). Highly recommended.
I have used The services of Dust Dolly since September 2014. From The initial contact with The owner right through to The Dust Dolly being introduced to me and coming on a weekly basis, I Have been very impressed with their efficiency, friendliness and their high Standard of cleaning.
