Formed in 1979, The Music Man has 43 years experience in Retail and also in the Piano Tuning trade, and provides musical instrument servicing to clients throughout the region. The company is situated in Hyde. Specialising in the tuning, repair and reconditioning of pianos for customers in Greater Manchester and the North West. Tunings ranging from concert tunings on large grands to tuning small upright pianos for the beginner and anything in between are undertaken.
We also specialise in the repair and servicing of Brass Woodwind String instruments including guitars for other music shops in the North West as well as several Local Authorities and also private individuals.

The firm provides individuals with a professional piano tuning service and has a fitted workshop to provide a backup service. The fully qualified staff help clients enjoy their music more. The service is intended to be cost effective every time.

The Music Man has a growing number of customers, situated around Greater Manchester, including Local Councils, Schools, Theatres, Restaraunts and Private Clients.

The Music Man has a music school where we teach sax flute clarinet piano keyboard guitar bass guitar violin drums and singing. All instruments are taught by experienced professional teachers. We take on pupils who have never touched an instrument and know nothing right up to experienced players wanting to better themselves or just to get back in practice.

The Music Man has a retail shop where we specialise in the sale of Music Books and Sheet Music, instruments, accessories and gifts.
