The Phoenix Works

I had a wall charger fitted by them for my EV BMW i3. I noticed a few charging issues and the plug on the charger had a corroded pin. The answer I was assured was to fit a plastic wall bracket for the charger and not use the rubber cap. They assured me that they would clean the plug at the same time as fitting the modification. I’m still having charger issues and the corrosion is still there. I have to use a mini file and contact spray now. That still haven’t replaced the charger plug as I asked.

I have not used it yet as the car has not been delivered. But Phoenix Works from start to installation yesterday (06/05/20) have been excellent in their communication and Geoff who fitted the charger was very informative about the product in particular and electric charging in general. Pleasure to work with: all of them. Big thank you for going out of your way to do this for me.

I couldn't be happier, pleasant and knowledgeable staff with excellent customer service, the technicians that came out to fit the charge point were punctual and took extreme pride in their work, I am a very fussy person and I was very impressed in the high level of workmanship. I definitely recommend The Pheonix Works.

I have an all electric car so when my 7 year old charging point failed I needed prompt help. Phoenix were extremely helpful on the phone and a technician arrived the same day and was able to provide a new point. I was kept fully informed as to options and costs at all stages. An excellent job!

Phoenix Works did a great job on a Zappi install for me. Chloe was great in helping with the planning, charger selection and paperwork. Always a joy to speak to, so friendly - a real pleasure. Clint installed the Zappi. Not a straightforward installation but he overcame the challenges well, and with our best interests in mind (what would look best was always front of mind rather than what might have been quickest). Thoroughly recommend Phoenix Works.

Clint arrived on time and fitted an ABL charger on the wall outside the garage without any fuss or bother - his many years of experience showed. All tested and a run through the procedure after clearing up left me very impressed.

I was visited last week by James from the Phoenix works to install my Electric Car charger in my garage It was a horrible cold snowy day and I wondered if he'd come! I needn't have worried he arrived bright and breezy at 9am as arranged. James explained exactly what he was doing and what services he'd need access to, within a short time the charger was installed and working. All the mess was cleared away and a clear explanation of the chargers use was provided. Great service and a nice guy too!

The Phoenix works installed an EV charger for my c350e. Clint and his mate turned up early and were very professional with loads of knowledge and did a brilliant neat job.

Clint fitted an EV charger on Monday and was very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure that I fully understood what was going on. There were some complications with my existing wiring and Clint worked a very long day to get it all done to a high standard without cutting corners. In the office, Elise was very friendly and helpful. The Phoenix Works were highly recommended to me and now I understand why. If only all companies were this good. If they were a PLC I would buy shares in them!

Dealing with this company was a pleasure. They were polite, professional, efficient and their attention to detail was second to none. Their pre-installation procedure and checks inspired confidence and meant that on the day they had all the required parts. They also provided information on my existing electrics - fuse box etc, that would need upgrading to ensure required levels of safety would be met and got the ball rolling on those upgrades prior to installation. In comparison to other installation companies that provided quotes, they made them look like amateurs.

Clint carried out the site survey, well worth having if you think the work to be undertaken is anything but straight forward, and the install and was the consummate professional throughout; knowledgeable and methodical with tremendous attention to detail. The Phoenix Works have just completed installation of an Electric Vehicle Charge Point for me. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Clint was extremely knowledgeable about EV charging and came up with a great solution which met my (somewhat complex) requirements. Also a very fair price. On install day Clint was on site for over 12 hours. He is a true professional - he worked very late to ensure that every aspect of the installation was perfect. He has fantastic attention to detail (even down to - "you might want to consider putting this box 10cm more to the right to ensure that you can't see the cable when looking at it from the house"). A true professional who really cares about the quality of this work. He clearly has a vast amount of relevant experience, and it shows!I must also mention Elise at HQ who was also very sharp, and responsive. It makes a very refreshing change (unfortunately) to deal with a company who does exactly what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it. I had an EV charge point installed and everyone from this company that I spoke to on the phone, through email or in person had the best attitude and customer service skills I have encountered in a long time. I recently asked Phoenix Works to install an EV charger at my home, with a separate meter for monitoring usage by the car. Great service from start to finish, very thorough and professional job: highly recommended. If I decide to install solar PV on my roof Phoenix Works will be my first port of call.

I recently asked The Phoenix Works to install an EV car charger at my property. From start to finish they have been a pleasure to deal with, responding promptly and clearly to any queries. The actual installation was very straightforward on the day and Clint the installer was very professional, performing the job very neatly and thoroughly. I wouldn't hesitate to use Phoenix for anything of this nature in the future.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The girls in the office were so helpful and knowledgeable, and helped me through the survey process that allowed Phoenix Works to provide me an accurate quote. The fitter was also very helpful, professional, clean and tidy and helped solve a small issue without any problems whatsoever. A very friendly chap he was too! Couldn't recommend enough.

Phoenix Works have just completed installation of a wall charger for our electric hybrid car. In part I picked them because of the consistently good reviews they have - and I've not been disappointed! Their customer service has been excellent being unfailingly polite even in the face of my many changes of mind and always very responsive. The quality of work done by their employees Clint and Phil has been outstanding and, all in all, like many others, I would definitely recommend them.

Great company to use, very helpful pre-sale and the installation of the electric charge point was all done neatly and tidily, with everything explained. Cost was also very competitive.
