Trevor is very professional and has done several jobs for us. His work has improved the look and value of our property both at the front, replacement Block Stone Drive, and at the rear, new brick walls and step, plus new lawn and pathway. Replacement fence panels with trelace have also been fitted.

Mr Ray did a marvellous job replacing warn fence panelling. He gave a very good quote, arrived on time and left us with a new fence and no debris. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Ray.

Trevor was hired to clear my front garden of trees, branches and leaves, and to level, spray weed killer, lay weed matting and gravel. He arrived when he said he would, worked hard, and also removed some more trees for me that he said needed to go. He removed the extra trees at no extra cost. We are very pleased with the finished result. Trevor is a very friendly chap, and I would recommend him to my friends. I have asked him to quote me to put up some fencing, as I thought his price was very reasonable for the work he did. Thank you Trevor.

Trevor ray has carried out a few jobs for me inc block paving, painting front/rear of house, over 80ft of fencing and hedge trimmed and always within budget, he allways turns up on arranged day and completes on time, I found trevor to be honest, , reliable, allways trying to put the world to right and completes work to a very good standard,.

This company was recommended to me by Sid Telfer who has used Trevor for years. I cannot speak highly enough of the landscaping, waterfall, stream and pond that has been planned and installed and has transformed the whole garden. What impressed me the most was the design input and ideas from Trevor that have enhanced the whole project dramatically. This obviously comes from a good many years experience and the end result shows this. It was also done at a very competitive rate and in a very time efficient manner. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone, my family and myself will certainly be using them again.

Sadly I cannot recommend this company. They were asked to lay some new patio slabs and re-turf the lawn to make it more level. The patio slabs have not been laid properly - they are not level and having now had someone else in to inspect the work I have learnt that they have not been properly embedded. They have been put on sharp sand only whereas they should have been put on this mixed with concrete. This explains why the mortar/pointing is cracking despite this being done a number of times as the slabs are moving. The small wall that has been built has not had the bricks tied in properly on the corner. The groundwork for the new lawn is unsatisfactory. It was not sufficiently raked and wasn't rolled or levelled with a plank before the new turf was put down. The new turf put down was not abutted properly and consequently there are gaps as the grass has not knitted together. This morning we had to lift the manhole cover installed and it would not lift without being hacked out and the surrounding paving slabs came up with it. Very disappointing.*In response to the company's reply which is incorrect in stating that Trading Standards have investigated and said there is no case to answer Trevor Ray did not return my telephone call asking him to contact me and come and fix the problems. Hence, after obtaining independent advice regarding the job, I contacted Trading Standards. I have sent a recorded delivery letter as advised by Trading Standards which to date Trevor Ray still hasn't responded to despite there being a date set in which time he was to respond.Moreexpand_more

My garden was like a wilderness until T P Ray turned it into a lovely place to sit and enjoy the garden. They carried out the work of clearing undergrowth and trimming the trees with speed and efficiency, removing and taking away all the rubbish. They built a circular patio outside our summerhouse, laid a new lawn and replaced damaged fencing. They did all this in just 3 and a half days! They turned up early to start the work and worked hard all day with great humour. We would highly recommend their work and will certainly use them again.

Trevor and Nick did an excellent job repairing a section of our dry stone garden wall which fell down during the recent heavy rain. In fact we were so pleased that we immediately got Trevor to do a much bigger job, renovating a large stone outbuilding, which now looks brilliant - as good as new. We cannot praise him highly enough.

Trevor and his team have carried out various jobs for us, from field fencing to trimming trees, all have been carried out to the highest standard. Punctual, polite and trustworthy. T P Ray Landscapes have transformed our front and back gardens in two separate jobs over the past year. They removed a very old tarmac driveway and replaced it with a modern block paving driveway, removed old fencing and replaced it with a new, sturdy fence the length of the garden, and have now just finished removing an old hedge and replaced it with new fencing. Trevor and his staff are friendly, polite, and work hard to get the desired result. Quotes were delivered very quickly and we would highly recommend them on value for money, service and quality of work.

TP Ray carried out a complete new block paved driveway, new double gates and they replaced a gravelled front garden with a turfed lawn. They completed the work in the time planned, the base was thoroughly prepared. They had a particularly helpful idea that enabled us to get the car into a narrow space, they removed the door steps and lifted the height of the drive up to the doors. It was very neatly done, and worked very well. The gates continued to work smoothly for many years, and the front garden was transformed. Would readily recommend the work of this company. Since we moved house the company once again worked for us, they extended an existing driveway by removing paving slabs and turf, and replaced them with a new foundation and brick paving. This was done with a minimum of disturbance to the rest of the garden, the new bricks fitted perfectly up to the existing ones and we are very pleased indeed with the finished result. Would happily have them work for us again.
