Had this company to deal with wasps nest in the roof space applied two treatments from ground level outside nest still active rang to complain responce was verbally condescending and dismissive they do not use ladders of any form so cannot access your loft space to apply a more direct treatment other companies do use ladders to get in your loft space.

Appalling customer service. Booked on Monday for a Friday visit. I had a call from Rick to say he’s 15 mins out. I then get a call to say he can’t find me and mentions a landmark. Since I’m new to the area I say I’m going to get a map at which point Rick says he can’t find me as I don’t know where I live. Following a negative review I get an abusive phone call including swearing and telling me there’s something wrong with my head.

Called as I was worried that I has a wasps nest advised by a lovely gentleman on the phone that it was too early and he suspected masonry bees which don't sting he advised that they are usually only around for 6-8 weeks to keep an eye on them and if any problem call back. Saved me money brilliant service.

Eek, mice at 2am! Young's turned up within an hour and amazingly used a dog to locate the mouse and where it was coming in to the kitchen. Excellent, quick service and apparently guaranteed if the mouse comes back. Thanks Youngs!

Wasps are definitely "NO" Allies of mine. Booked an appointment, turned up as requested, before noon. Not here long, straight into the loft/sprayed/and informed me that; as he was able to get right onto the nest, they would be gone in a trice. He was spot on, even showed me the nest and polite in the extreme. Delighted, money well spent. If needed again, wouldn't hesitate. Matt.

I called Young's Pest Control worried about a wasps nest in the garage above my main gate. The team arrived the next day, sprayed the area, clearly explained the process and what I would see within the next 24 hours, tidied the area, and left. Within a few hours the wasps were gone! Not even one dead one on the path! Strangely I've barely seen a wasp in the garden at all since their visit. Good job, well done, well worth the price. Would use again and would recommend to all in their area.

Don't be fooled by the mild manner (or cheap prices) of the owner of this business. After speaking to him on the phone and booking a visit to kill a wasp nest we had at our property, he failed to show for the appointment. On contacting the owner again he informed me they "don't cover my area", which begs the question. Why book an appointment in the first place? He then went on to say "it's on the website so it's not hard is it", which I found extremely rude. I would avoid this company at all costs.

I had what I thought was a wasps nest in my garden, but after speaking to young's pest control and explaining what it looked like it turns out it was a bees nest. The bees moved on of their own accord later on in the day, so I didn't need them to come out in the end. But the customer service over the phone was excellent and the beekeper who called me back was prompt with good advice. If I'm ever unlucky enough to have another pest problem I will be ringing again.

I had mole hills in my front lawn and called Manchester Pest Controller for help, as I'd been warned that swift action was essential. I was very impressed that Rick asked me to text him a photo so he could check it was moles (it was). Within a couple of hours Rick was at my house installing 5 mole traps in the lawn. To do this he excavated the mole hills and then found the mole tunnels underneath, then put a trap across each tunnel. It took about 10 days (and 2 further visits) till the mole had got trapped. Rick advised me to get my lawn rotavated and reseeded so that new moles don't have a ready network of tunnels to move into. Rick was punctual, had all the right gear and was very knowledgeable. I'd recommend him.

Instructed Youngs Pest Control to remove a wasps nest in August. On first impression the chap (named himself Rick) was covered in sut! He explained was not just a pest controller but has his fingers in other pies such as Chimney Sweeping. I was not prepared to let him through the house to the yard as he was filthy and had no dust sheets. He insisted I pay a call out charge. There is no mention of this (at the time anyway) on the website and began swearing and was hostile towards me. I feel fooled by the charming telephone manor, it's the same chap that carries out the work.

We were very pleased with the service. We phoned in the afternoon and he visited the following morning. Explained fully what he was doing and what to expect. Wasps were gone within hours. Hope we don't have a problem with pests in the future but would not hesitate to use again and would recommend to friends.

Great Service and even gave me a second call out for free.
